About Shanna Rae-Ven

I am an energy healer and a soul midwife. I have a healing practice that provides these services, along with many others. My work as a caregiver goes hand in hand with my healing practice. As a soul midwife I assist people through the dying process, as well as life transitions. I am there for emotional, spiritual, and physical support and guidance for the dying and the loved ones. I also specialize in supporting and servicing people with dementia and their families. In addition to caring for individuals with Alzheimers or dementia, I also consult with families and caregivers on how to live and work with this disease through an approach of subtle energy, and in a way that benefits their loved one. I am empathic and intuitive and can tune in easily to the needs of others. I became a caregiver because a friend recommended the work and it turned out to be very suitable to me, naturally. I have spent most of my caregiving career working with alzheimers and dementia, as well as death and dying. Special work that I am honored to be doing.

I was Soul midwife for a family, meaning I assisted in the husbands death in the first year and the wife's death at the end, and continue to provide spiritual and emotional care/support for other members in family. In between I was the wife's caregiver. She had middle stage Alzheimer's. Overnighted weekends and when needed. Cooked meals: clean eating and healing foods. Provided personalized therapy through energy work, art, music, movement/yoga, nature. Created and planned activities.
