Experience & Education

Senior Med Tech/ CNA

Apr 2011 - Present
Mountlake Terrace Plaza
Started out the first couple of years as a Med Tech/ CNA providing ADLs personal care to up to 30 residents daily worked all shifts been stable working Monday thru Friday 630 to 230 sometimes had to stay later due to emergency or cover a late employee. Residence, Family, staff, and outside vendors adore me having confidence in every aspect of a resident care needs and their safety. Besides assisting their meds on a daily basis I took on other jobs aswell Housekeeping, dinning server, front desk coverage, if a staff person was missing Id step in. Employees looked up to me for advice and if a team member has conflicts which do happen at times I come up with solutions. For the past couple of years I had stepped up the chain of command with becoming the senior Med Tech/ CNA (lead caregiver). I am reliable, helpful, and dedicated to the people I care for.

Greetings! Currently working on my undergrad studies as a student of Midwifery. I have 6 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I enjoy the outdoors and staying active, but when I'm taking care of elderly I know from hands-on experience that this takes time, compassion, and patience which I hold. I enjoy simple conversations and listening to their wonderful stories (which are many!) they love to talk about. I became inspired to be a CNA by taking care of my grandparents when I was younger, to me, nothing is more rewarding than assisting a person in need to improve their quality of life.
