Work history: worked in the medical industry for thirty plus years and volunteer in the burn unit at Harborview Hospital in Seattle Washington. After having a tragic accident and experience as a patient enhanced the compassion for those who are in need of assistance. Displaying genuine concern for the well-being of patients has never subsided. When meeting a new potential client the uttermost of respect is always at the forefront. Their ability to feel comfortable is important. This can be an intrusive experience allowing someone into one's personal environment. There are never any assumptions it is always important to know how to address the client and their expectations. Since working as a care provider, the list of friends with the client and their family has grown. This line of work has developed into trust with all of those who are a part of the client's life. Bringing a positive attitude when working with clients and their family has been beneficial. The friendship with a former client and their family continues. The opportunity to visit with them in a nursing facility and stay overnight in their family's home has been rewarding. They have opened their home to visit anytime. Never thought that the passion within would have led to this wonderful relationship with both the client and their family. One great accomplishment was to receive a Bachelor degree in Liberal Arts in 2016. Please do not hesitate to ask questions.

No matter what stage of Dementia they are in I love to encourage calm, peaceful, and fun interaction. I am open to providing home health care for those who have other needs as well. I have cared for those with Parkinson's, Strokes, and Quadriplegics. I have several references if needed. I am ready and available to work, anywhere from 48 to 72 hrs a week, as a live in private health care provider.
