I've always seen myself and been a caregiver, and have spent a long time building a character to personally serve others. I am the oldest in the family, to look after another most of my life. I have an abilty to assume and anticipate needs of others. I am an excellent communicator, and enjoy improving the lives of others. I have a good standing current CNA liscense, Basic life support first aid/cpr, emergency care technician training, an degree in liberal arts with varying emphasis' including early childhood education, anthropology (linguistic, and cultural) as well as Psychology. I am single, and enjoy my time reading, garden, walking, movies, and crafting. I adore the people I have the priviledge to care for. Currently, I'm am passionately involved in a End of life/ hospice certification study, and will be for the next year or so. I feel this will not only round my career, but also give me the confidence and assurance I am able to fulfill my dream in this very special field. As I grow in End of Life care, I gain a deeper understanding of what it means to live, and the expirience of what it means to walk with someone during the end of their lives, physically, spiritually, emotionally.....this very personal journey no one needs to do alone. We find together what needs to be done, and we go there! Whatever that means to the person, and people calling me in. It's really quite a time, to be sure, every expirience is different, yet inevitably the same. I enjoy being a caregiver that helps people live their best life, with reassurance they have what it takes to live fully, and happily. Although I'm a caregiver for the terminally ill, I also challenge myself to care for clients with expiriences and health issues I'm "new"too...always eager to share and learn new people, and care needs I appreciate you, and your willingness to take on whatever challenges YOU are facing, and I encourage you to find the care will help you be your best
