I have been a caregiver since I was 18 years old. I am now 45. I became a CNA back in 1991. After working in a skilled nursing home I decided to work in assisted living. I have lots of experience working with dementia residents. I have also worked as a med aide. I became a caregiver because when I was growing up my mother owned a foster home and I enjoyed spending time with the elderly even back then. So as I got older I decided I want to help the elderly. I enjoy spending time with them , getting to know about their lives, I am a very caring person and easy to get along with . I am also very reliable .
