My name is Grace, I am 26 years old. I am a very self-motivated and determined person. I have a huge heart for everyone and genuinely love helping anyone who needs it. I am always willing to step-up when I see someone in need. I am very professional and a hard-working employee. I have a background in Caregiving since March of 2016. I started as a direct support professional for adults with developmental disabilities. I also have extensive experience with senior care, memory care, rehabilitation, & as a home care assistant. I am proud of what I do. I bring a calm presence with me & it helps to get to know everyone on an individual and personal level. I am very adaptable and supportive to increase my client's individuality and choice in their daily lives. I view myself as someone to help them be their best self. I do whatever they are having trouble to do themselves. It is a private and very personal relationship. I have a huge heart for helping people. My primary concern as a caregiver is to make sure that my client is able to function at the best of their ability and to make sure that they are having the highest quality of life that they are able to have. I am not only there for my client but I am also there for the family (such as: to let them go grocery shopping, are just to be another set of ears at doctor appointments or for the family. After a few days with the client and the family I begin to consider them family. I have a great amount of nurturing and empathy, some say I care to much but I give 150% to my clients and families. I enjoy order and dispensing medication, relating to my clients, enjoy the pass and working on family history. I have no parents or grandparents so my clients kind of fill these roles. I have been a first responder, EMT, CPR Instructor, nurse's aide, and medication aide. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is having a D.N.S. that I work with for a long time trust me to teach new nurse's the medication routine and to be a charge nurse. As a personal care giver the highest praise I can be given is for my client to tell me I must be an angel and that they love me.
