Hey there, My name is Melody DeGrave and I live in Green Bay. I am currently a Certified Medical Assistant/LPN. I previously worked as a CNA for 7 years in Nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Rehab facilities and Disabled homes. I have been a nurse for 5 years at Aurora Healthcare working as a float nurse in OB/GYN, behavioral health, pediatrics, family practice and internal medicine. I recently started a new position with St Elizabeth hospital in the heart and lung unit. I previously took care of a paraplegic man in his home for 3 years with a hoyer lift. I would go to his home every morning before work and give him a shower/ get him ready for the day and give him any meds or apply any topicals he may have needed. I loved doing this, I am capable and I am more than willing to help where help is needed. I currently work Monday-Thursday 830:430. I would be willing to help any times outside of those hours. At this time, I prefer to work one- on- one with my clients to assist with daily living skills, medications, meal planning, cleaning, personal cares, and other tasks as needed. I am extremely passionate about my care and I am very detail oriented, I have been through many different challenging situations throughout my years professionally, and can adapt very well to my surroundings effectively and efficiently.
