I get asked all the time "why would you want to be a CNA, why would you want to work in such a stressful field ?" My answer to them is "Because I love my job," but the true answer goes way deeper than that. I love my job because of all of the little things; The smiles that you get when you walk into a room, hearing a typically nonverbal person answering you, someone calming down just by the sound of your voice and most importantly all of the thank you's said by families. Being a CNA is investing all of your time into someone you once never knew but now not being able to imagine your life without them.
