I've been a caregiver for over 20 years. I'm currently taking care of one of my clients that I've been with for 3+ years. I'm a very loving person and I take care of my clients like they're my own family. Anything they need, I constantly do for. My mother passed away from breast cancer and while she was very ill I transported her to her doctors appointments and radiation treatments, I cleaned her house while she was resting, made sure she had food and everything she needed. I knew how much I helped her and how much she appreciated me and I was there for her until her last breath, ever since then I've felt the need to care for others and help them when they couldn't help themselves. That's what I feel like I should be doing as my occupation. I so much enjoy just being able to talk to my clients and making them feel comfortable, helping them with activities it's hard for them to do by themselves and also cooking for them because I love to cook and if they're not able to get around well then I can cook whatever they want. I have been very blessed with the people I have came in contact with over the years and have helped, but they've also helped me. I grow so attached to my patients and I can't help but be sure they are absolutely taken care of to the finest part.
