I enjoy helping and participating in activities with clients, learning about the likes and dislikes of things, catering to them. What makes me a great caregiver is I love to care for the elderly and I truly love them for who they are and I go above and beyond to make sure that they are comfortable and well taken care of. I became a caregiver because I've seen and her of a lot of elderly abuse. I didn't like it so I became a caregiver for all the ones that I care for will always know that they are loved. I like being a caregiver because the elderly need someone who cares and love them no matter what that's me. I enjoyed being the one to give them that love back. My biggest achievement is that I had two clients with dementia / Alzheimer's and I always hesitated about taking care of these particular patient. I did a wonderful job with the help of God, patience and love and care. I learn that they are still people just like the rest of us they just need a little bit more attention and patience to care for but they are worth every minute.

I've been taking care of people since I was nine years old. My grandmother had a assistant living facility and I worked there. All I know is being there for other people because this job isn't for everyone. I remember people names and not there room number like some people do. I truly enjoy taking care of people.
