What makes me a great caregiver is that I genuinely love taking care of others. Since I was younger, I was the one that people turned to help take of others in my family. I took care of both my grandparents until they transitioned. I'm a people person. I have a caring heart and most importantly I'm a listener. I'm attentive and compassionate. I try my best to go above and beyond to make those I care for feel better and cared for. I've been certified for 11 years. I love doing what I do, and that's helping others in their time of need.

I'm am a great caregiver who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver because I'm passionate about caring for elder people and people in general. I enjoy making someone's day brighter and seeing them smile. It warms my heart to know that I can make a difference or change someone's outlook even just for that moment. Hi I'm Terri and I'm an experience caregiver for over 15 years. My duties are making Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, give medications, and sponge baths. I also do laundry, light housekeeping, run errands and communicate with patients daily. I'm dependable, loyal and caring. My first job was taking care of my grandmother in her home. I enjoyed watching tv shows and laughing with her. I took care of her about 2 years before she passed away. This 1 job in Irondale for 4 years with Mrs. Hill it was like I was part of the family I was invited to everything with the family. I loved Mrs. Hill and she loved me and she enjoyed her life until her very last day. My accomplishment is making my patients feel special, and cared for everyday. I love taking care of the elderly helping them accomplish daily task they couldn't do without me.

At first I became a caregiver because I knew that I would always have a job but once I got into the job I enjoyed taking care of the elderly, disabled, children. I love being a caregiver. The main ting about be a caregiver I that you get to help people I love helping people. That I went to see a young lady that I took care of at a hospital and she was dying of AIDS and I told her that would be back to check on her and I did and that next day she die. I was so glad that I went to see her and to let her know that someone cared and love her. I am a 51 years old young lady been in nursing for the last sixteen years.
