My name is Kayla and I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people. I am currently a nursing major. The things I enjoy most about being a caregiver are that I get to connect with each client differently and create bonds with them.

Hi my name is Madelynn Moore. I became a CNA right out of High school. Ever since I was younger I new I always wanted to take care of people. So it was only natural for me to end up in this role. I was given a scholarship in high school to complete a CNA program. After completion I started college and have been a full time student and have recently reached a point to where I can take on another job. One achievement I have been really proud of here lately is getting all As in school. One of the things that I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is knowing that I am able to make people comfortable and happy. I plan to continue on to Physician Assistant school.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others and I have learned a great deal from each individual I have cared for. A good caregiver should possess the following skills: attention to detail and the persons needs, they must be a good listener and alert, nurturing and caring.

I have been a caregiver for 3 family members. I currently live with my Dad in order to assist with his care. However, I would like a job outside my personal family as a caretaker for others. My experience is in cleaning (6 yrs exp.w/hospital background),cooking (15 yrs exp.w/ restaurant background), and maintaining multiple appointment schedules. Having worked as an assistant with a group home, I have guided others in daily life skills. My interaction with a variety of disabled patients, at the group home, prepared me to offer encouragement and support in any situation. I enjoy reading, music, and movies. My leisure time is spent with family , especially my children and grandchild.

I love carrying for others. In comes naturally to me. I started out by taking care of multiple family members and later evolved to private home health. I became certified so that I would be better educated on how to care for others. I love people and love to make people feel good about themselves anyway I can!

Hello! My passion is caring for people and their health. I have been a caregiver for 3 years and have worked as a CNA for 1 year. I also am in college so I am always learning and eager to learn as well! For caring, it is not "just about getting the job done". I try to earn my resident's trust and hope that they will trust me with their health. I love to get to know them personally and ask about their life, make jokes with them and what not. I have most of my experience with the elderly and adults with down syndrome. However I have a very broad experience with most common disabilities as well. My goal in life to become a Physician assistant specialized in geriatrics or dermatology. I am also CPR and first aid certified!
