My name is Cristin Philpot, I am 19 years old... I graduated from auburn high class of 2021, I am now going to Southern Union State Community College. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I also enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way.

I became a cna in 2009. My grandmother and uncle both work in the healthcare industry. I love helping people and just spending time. Makes me feel like I have made a difference and touched someone's heart. It just feels good!

Upon graduating nursing school I went to work for nursing homes and was not happy with what I saw and what was expected of me. I became a Caregiver instead to have the one on one care. My bubbly personality and strong skill suit make me the perfect fit for at home care.

Having 15 years experience in care giving with Dementia, Alzheimer, Parkinson disease. For a period of 6 years I worked with one family. My services provides personal care for clients, comprising assisting with medication, meal preparation, personal hygiene and specific house hold duties. I also assists clients mobility, helping them with using a cane or walker and transporting to appointments, can manage and maintaining household budget. My hobbies are reading and dancing. I am patient, loving, compassionate and take pride in providing quality service for the client.

I became a caregiver because it is in my blood. My grandmother was a CNA, my mother is a LPN and is in school for RN, and I am currently in school for my RN. I enjoy the satisfaction of bringing joy into my patient's lives. My mother had a great impact on my decision. She has affected so many lives and it makes me smile to see how many relatives of her patients speak so highly of her. When I am in clinicals I get a sense of fulfillment when I leave the patients in a better mood and in better health than when I found them. I also have a younger brother with Downs Syndrome, Pulmonary Hypertension, and behavioral problems that I help care for. I am a hard worker and would be a definite asset to any life that is blessed to be touched by mine.
