I have been a CNA since 1995 and worked in nursing homes for 6 years. I worked for Banner Hospital for 13 years in the med-surg /oncology unit. I have been working for kindly care for 2 years and previously worked for synergy for 1 year. I enjoy working one on one with clients in their home. I would like to keep working as Caregiver because I genuinely enjoy caring for people. I can help others to recover and stay in their homes as long as possible.

I've been a c.n.a for 29 years and I enjoy my job helping others who are in need of help I also took care of both my brothers and father when they were in need of care I was happy to do that for them it was hard when they past but I got to care for them witch made me happy.

What makes me a great caregiver/cna that it comes from my heart .What attracted me to becoming a caregiver/cna was when i became my mother's full time caregiver.I didn't realize how much of a difference one can be that truly cares .I rejoice on putting a smile on someone and giving them care and love.I have accomplished alot in life but one of my great achievements has been being able to help my Mother and be there for her the 7 years she needed me.

I am a fun loving young adult. I've worked with elderly and the disabled for most of my life. I love helping people on a day to day basis as well as assisting people. I love getting to know people and there stories.

I have always enjoyed providing care to those who are in need of care. I became a CNA because I soon want to become a LPN. CNA can help me understand the needs of others and the care they desire. I believe good teamwork and good communication leads to a safe and productive work environment. In very short time with very little experience I became lead CNA of a locked up Behavioral unit. I have experience in an Alzheimer’s and Dementia unit. I also became CNA of the month. I am very passionate about my job. I am a very reliable employee and I am also very flexible when it comes down to scheduling. I can adapt to and situation and/or emergency. I can perform all ADLs that are required for proper resident care. I also have on floor experience. I have all my certifications up to date. CPR, CNA License, Fingerprint Clearance Card, TB Test, etc.

In 1997 I took a course to become a CNA; I did not know what it was. Here I am after almost 18 years still doing what I discovered that I enjoy helping people that depend on me. I put myself in their shoes and do the very best that I can for them. Maybe someday when I need someone's help, they will care for me in the same way. I am most proud of being CNA of the year. It's a great honor because of the many people that I have helped. I am the kind of person that will go out of my way to put a smile on someone's face. If it means just sitting keeping them company to driving to get their favorite food. I am a mature lady very strong and healthy and plan on continuing to help people for many years to come.
