It all started back when my father got sick and I had to take care of him. I have a heart of gold I love to help those that need it and it brings me joy to help those. I have been a certified nurse assistant working in hospitals and nursing homes along with caregiving on the side.

I enjoy helping those that need support and assistance.

Growing up as a child, I always want to help other people who are in need. I enjoy helping others and their joy gives me joy. I was also raised in a family other than my biological family. I received so much support and care from them. I want to give the same support and care for others that need it. I've been working as Caregiver in Phoenix, AZ at BEATITUDES CAMPUS OF CARE for 6 years before moving to Maryland. I enjoy it and I love meeting new people.

I am a bilingual fluent in Spanish in English, friendly self motivator person outgoing, and enjoy reading, music, love to talk and cooking too. I enjoy working with people and gives me satisfaction if I can put a smile on my client faces, especially individuals with memory problems like dementia and Alzheimer's.

I chose this career because I want whoever is in my care to feel important and loved and I enjoy the gratitude I get from family members Or the patients.

Everyone is different, in my own ways I let the person that i am caring for know that I care about them and want to do what i can to help them. I grew up taking care of those in need of my help. My name is Irankunda but I go by Mimi I have always had a heart of helping people every since I was a child, but when I graduated from high school I had to opportunity to start working as a caregiver and when I was in that field it opens my eyes which made me want to continue doing caregiving. I love helping people and I believe that is why we were placed on this planet to do. The most things I enjoy working as a caregiver is the moments I get to have with my individuals moments are the greatest thing that can happen to a person because those moments never fade away. I love working with seniors they inspire me I love there story's when they were little and how things have changed since then. I became a caregiver because i belive they have came a long way and they deserve to be treated with respect dignity and I want to make sure that they are in a safe environment when there in my care everything from cooking cleaning laundry Bathing grooming medication reminder transfering memory games and lots more while .

I started with my sister in law which had down syndrome when i was 19, now im 27. I have worked with kids with disabilities and with ealderly people. I enjoyed doing both to me its rewarding seeing a smile on their face and being able to help them. There rough days but through out the years i have learned that with patience, love and respect i will always do great.

I am a compassionate and dedicated caregiver that treats all of my patients as though they are my own family. I have patience, compassion and a diverse background having worked the last 30+ years in hospitals and in the Homecare settings both as a Visiting Nurse and hired directly by families. I have a calm demeanor and am always positive and encourage my patients and their families to feel free to speak to me about anything they are concerned about I always treat my patients and the families I work for with respect and give them complete privacy. I take pride in knowing I have learned a lot from all of the families I have worked with and appreciate everyone as an individual and has unique characteristics. Families have trusted me with the care of their loved ones because of my confidence, experience and am highly recommended from others. Because I care about people's health and there well being ,.well I am sweet polite a good listener and I love caring for the elderly .,what attract me to being a caregiver was I've been around it all my life and I love helping people. My grandma was a nurse and she owns her own homes with five patients in and each and from the time I was a little girl I was passing out waters empty and trash making the beds setting the table I'm visiting with the ladies etc what I enjoy most about being caregiver is helping people. My son is my best achievement.

My name is Mayra Acuna and I am 25 years old. I am going to school to become a DNP (Doctor of Science in Nursing- Nurse Practitioner). I love working as a caregiver because I can help patients become as independent as possible so that they can continue living their life to the best of their abilities. I chose this job because once I graduate as a doctor (which is a couple years away), I will be able to assist my patients better and give them the proper care because I have been in their homes and have seen how they truly live. I think that it is very important for a caregiver to show love, passion, and compassion toward what they do, and that is exactly how I feel with this job. When I say that I am a caregiver, I say it with pride. A lot of people may view this as a just another job but for me, this is more than just a job, it is a steppingstone to what I want to do as a career for the rest of my life. Therefore, I take every day seriously and I treat every patient with the love and respect that I would treat someone from my family.

My name is Stephany Vergara. I have been caregiving for the past 6 years. Started caregiving back in 2015 and became a passion of mine ever since. I would describe myself as a respectful, observant, reliable and a patient person who provides first-class care. Over the years, I have worked in various roles where the need to work closely with other people, follow strict rules and procedures, and demonstrate understanding and empathy have been required. I am very passionate about being a caregiver and i would say I try and stay positive and cheery at all times, which makes me very much suited to work. I ensure the best possible care is always afforded to the clients/residents/patients i care for. My personal achievement is that i am able to make the person I am caring for feel safe and well taken care of. If I'm not caregiving i am spending time with my family, children, dogs and at church.

I've been caregiving for 10 years now and love what I do. Knowing I'm helping someone while putting a smile on their face is the best feeling. I've been doing caregiving since I was 16 years old my mom is a cna as well as my dad so I imagine that's why I was so interested in this field. I'm very responsible and I make sure things get done in a timely matter. Whatever I have to do to make my client happy I'm willing to do it! Because at the end of the day I love knowing I made someone happy & I did a great job!!
