My goal is to provide a pleasant environment keeping your loved one safe at home as I did for my mother. I will assist with providing personal care that includes bathing or grooming to maintain their independence. I offer pleasant and appropriate companionship and conversation, and perform light housekeeping tasks like dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning. I'll be attentive and responsible in observing and reporting any sudden changes in the client's mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation. I am capable of purchasing and reminding patients of prescribed oral medications under the written direction of physician or as directed by home care nurse. I had the pleasure of being my mothers caregiver until her final days and the greatest joy was knowing she felt safe and secure during her final days, I feel all elderly should have that type of security.

I love being helpful and lighting up someone life by doing the little things that people take for granted. With a smile, a positive attitude and a listening ear I serve my clients in every career I have experienced. I watched my mother take care of countless people in our community and that is what originally got me interested in caregiving. After a summer working with four clients of varying ages and mental and physical capacity, I find the greatest part of caregiving is spending time with people. I am most proud of the awareness I have developed about myself. I know my limits, strenths, ans weaknesses, and I am learning how to put that evoling imforamtion tto use in greater ways everyday.

I am a very loving and caring. My patience and my heart to help other make me good caregiver. I enjoy talking with my residents and learning about them and their life. When I can make them feel better and comfortable in spite of having to receive the level of care that they need after being independent, it makes my heart smile.

I am a great caregiver! I am able to assess patients needs quickly. I think making someone feel their best is what we joined the medical field for! I have 4 siblings and help care for both of my elderly parents with cares, medical appts, bills and things like this. I cook and help clean when they need. Hello I am 30 years old, I am currently registered in school to revive my Bachelor degree to be a licensed teacher! I have worked in the nursing field since I was 18 years old and enjoy helping elderly out on a daily! I am very outgoing, love talking and connecting with my patients. there's not one patient I met that haven't fell in love with me, I am genuine, very caring and take out time with others to show my love so they can feel love and comfortable enough to be their self and express their self!

What makes me a great caregiver is simple I was put on this earth to care for others. I am nurturing. I got into this field due to my younger sister being diagnosed with Lupus at the age of Fourteen. Also my grandmother only a few months later. I come from a large family of nine. I always took care of everyone. I became a caregiver, because I enjoy taking care of the elderly, they are older adults and need assistance with total nursing care. I have compassion and really care about them, where it gets to the point of trying to protect them from harms way. I really love being a caregiver, because I believe it's my calling from God, to take of the elderly, and that is the main reason I'm still doing his work. I have no kids, and I lost my husband some years ago. I was raised by wonderful parents, they taught me to be the person that I'm today, which is a kind hearted person. I'm studying online to be a healthcare administrator, it can be difficult but it's doable. I want to achieve this education goal, for myself and my mother, because she would want me to get my degree. I plan on building a homeless shelter in the near future.

I have been taken care of elderly people for over 20 years. I help them get to doctor appointments, grocery stores and get the chores done around their home. I have patience and love to hear stories. My personal achievement is I went back to college and received my bachelors degree in psychology. I am still in college working on my PhD. I have learned that when working with older adults a person needs to have patience and listen to what the client is saying.
