Hello my name is Veronica Cruz. I've been a caregiver for the last 9 years. The reason why became a caregiver because of my grandmother. She passed away pancreatic cancer . I enjoy being a caregiver to me if I can make my clients smile it makes me feel like I'm doing something right. I have trainings different specialties from Alzheimer's to Dementia clients with cancer open wound sore . I enjoy doing puzzles,arts and crafts,painting, and listening to music. I'm an easy going type of person. I have Been a Caregiver for 16+ years total,ranging from Facility Shift Lead & In home CNA the past 3 years, to being a private Nanny ,group home staff member and Private Aide/housekeeper. Being a caregiver comes naturally to me and I enjoy it simply because I love helping others wherever I can. I enjoy spending time with the elderly clients they have so much to tell about life experiences even though they may say the same thing over and over again lol but it gives them pleasure to recount stories ,I just happened to answer an ad for a caregiver position 20 yrs ago and really loved it.

I have been a caregiver/cna over 17 yrs I am a hard worker fast learner and very compassionate to those I care for even though everyday is a new challenge I absolutely love what I do currently I am in behavioral health that itself is a daily challenge. Two years ago I was able to care for my mother in our home till she passed along with visits from hospice of the valley. I know I made the right choice over 17 yrs ago .

I have been raised in a house where I had to grow up a little bit faster than some people but I had to do it to help my grandmother with my cousin who has Cerebral Palsy, blind, and in a wheel chair. I understand the time and love and effort to put forth towards people like that, very calm when it comes to working with people like this, I really just like helping people
