The reason I become a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of the elderly, sick, and handicapped. I enjoy making sure client are safe, healthy, and comfortable and will treat my clients and family members with respect. I started home health aide in 2000 and I have excellent letters of recommendation from clients and my past work history. I am dependable, honest, work well under pressure, I enjoy doing activities with my clients, and playing educational games. I have been during home health aide for over thirteen years and currently working with my current client. I am certified in American Heart Association, Licensed in under the DC Board of Nursing in Home Health Aide and also have a certificate in activities assistant. I am a good caregiver because i"ve been doing this humble profession for over 22yrs. though i had an 8 hrs job before, i still do it on a weekend or sometimes during the night if some clients will request. Ensure the client's home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. You may also be expected to assist with some light housework, Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks. Provide mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair. Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.

I have been a live-in caregiver since 2012.
