I am a caregiver with more than 10 years of experience, I chose to become a senior caregiver is because it comes naturally to the family. I like this field because I am known for my sensitivity, my giving nature and my nurturing desire to help those who need help. l like being a caregiver because it is the most rewarding thing I can do and my passion is to put others first. Personal Achievement that I am really proud of is that I can care for seniors that need my help. Somethings that make me a great caregiver is that I am a cheerful person, very honest, reliable, hard working person and very eager to excel in everything I do.

I was a Home Health Aide. I did home care visits where my duties included, bathing, transferring, vital signs, medication reminders. I have successfully completed the Professional Medical Assistant program through Institute of Technology in 2017. My skills include; vital signs, medication tracking, injections, blood draws, bathing, dressing, transferring, urinalysis, etc. I am looking for a live in care taker situation. I have been care giver almost 20 years. I have passion for the others who are elder, poor weak, helpless , lonely, my mother was a nurse in small town in India. When I was 10 I went with my mother to visit her patient house to house. My mother give me this sprits to help the weak and older people

I became a caregiver after my father suffered a stroke in 1998 and I took care of him for nine months before he finally passed on and that experience imprinted in my heart a desire to serve and care for those in similar situations. It is most rewarding to me when I see my patients smile when I walk in the door and improve dramatically in my care. My proudest achievement was when the widowed daughter of my 91 yr old patient was finally able to find life by traveling the world and eventually meeting and marrying her husband today. She said the trust, love and care I gave her Mum was the only reason she was able to achieve this. We remain family friends to this day. I'm a proud grandma of four beautiful grandchildren, I enjoy life and keeping fit and healthy.

What makes me a great person and caregiver is that im selfless. I love to help anyone that I can, and just make their day better. I am currently in nursing school to become an LON and i absolutely love it. This profession is just right for me.

1 I became a caregiver because that was the only job that I could do when I first arrived in the US of America. Caregiving is part of our culture in our country where our parents cared for their parents in their homes and also the elderly in our community. My parents have instilled in me this love caring ways for the elderly at such an early age. 2 Being a Caregiver has opened my eyes to see and learn a lot of new things. I became a caregiver when both my parents became sick. My father who had a heart attack and bypass surgery at that time I helped take care of him as well as my mother. About 5 years later my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was then I had to leave my job and took care of her on a 24 hour basis. It was also then when I thought I really enjoy being a caregiver. I went to school for Medical Assistant and then Phlebotomy. I enjoy helping others along with cooking.

With 4 years of experience of caregiving, I really love being a caregiver because I love to be around old people and helping them with whatever they need. I took care of an old man (88 yr old) who was discharged from hospital and was told by the medical personnel that he will not live long but with my love and taking good care of this old man he lived for another 3 years till the age of 91.

I am really interested in taking up the caregiver job because I love taking care of people. Back home in Fiji I assist my mom in taking good care of my grandmother when she fell from the steps at home and was bedridden for three months till she left us. I like being a caregiver because I love being around seniors and taking good care of them.

I like being a caregiver so as to provide comfort, help and companionship for elderly in their daily chores or routine. Seniors need patience, love and understanding much like we are taking care of our own parents. I am of Filipino descent and as such it is imbibe in our culture for the love and respect of the elderly, so much more if they are relatives. It is in our second nature to care for our parents, uncles/aunts, grandparents. I am now 60 yrs old, male and i think i can still serve our community thru caregiving job. However, i am only available on weekends as i take care of my grandkids during weekdays. I can drive and have a valid license.

I'm a caring person who has a good heart. I treat the elderly and disabled as if they were my parents. I have experience in this field and I really enjoy it. I cared for my father when he became ill in 2009 until he went to heaven in 2017. I know you want the best for your loved one and I promise I will be that caregiver, friend and companion that they need and I will do it with a compassionate heart.

I am about to be 20, I am a current nursing student, I will be finishing my program in June to become an LVN. I am a spanish speaker. I have a very friendly personality, I am very honest, I can maintain a professional face at all times, with extreme patience. I pursued a career in the medical field because I knew I wanted to help people for a living. I love helping people and giving them a reason to smile and appreciate waking up everyday. when my parents in law got sick.My mother in law had diabetes and my father in law had prostate cancer.Besides ,im an X-ray Technologist by profession. I worked with doctors in the Philippines.I worked in Los Angeles for 9 years,mostly with high end client.
