I am a CNA with over 14yrs. experience. I have always loved working with the elderly. I am a great person to know. I am a self starter, can adapt to any situation, with a great sense of humor. I have a big heart for people.

I chose to become a CNA because I want my life to mean something, I want to help people and see smiles. I'm going to school to get my RN, and possibly continue on to become a Doctor. I love the feeling of helping people, and knowing that I'm actually making a difference in someone's life. I like knowing that I'm helping out right now, here, where the person needs it the most. I'm quite proud of myself so far. I graduated high school early, and have sort of just been dipping my hands into career ideas and jobs until I ended up following the same calling as my mother. I'm twenty-two years old, and I love to game, and be outside. I love animals. I've got a dog, and a couple cats. I can't wait to finish school.

I have always been interested in spending time with older people. I love to help and make people smile. I completed my CNA and gained more than 10 years of experience. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. First and foremost "Do No Harm. The care and services I give to the patient/client is more than if not equal to the care and service I have had given to my parents or any elderly patient/client. I educate patient/client of their medical condition and evaluate all medications they are taking and communicate with their doctors for the therapeutic effect and occurrence of symptoms unknown must be reported for further evaluation by the physician. I am committed to enhance/improve the quality of life in their daily living activities by promoting physical fitness program thereby enhancing cognitive function. Support and promote independency whenever possible. Encourange patient to participate in family affairs and gatherings whenever necessary. The help that is needed by a patient/client specially the elderly are of an enormous task that can only be given by a caregiver on a one on one basis. Special attention must be given methodically. The accomplishment of improvement in the giving of care to the patient/client is the best reward that you can ever get as a caregiver. My personal achievement which I am very proud of is the manifestation of my hardwork in prolonging and improving the quality of life of the patient/client.

I am a dedicated, dependable and compassionate person who is passionate about helping others. For the past six years I have worked as a nanny. Within the past year I have delved into being a caregiver who works with disabled and elderly patients. I am committed to improving patient well being through emotional and physical support. I believe in maintaining an environment where I am able to support and be a companion for my patient.

I had been missionary-pastor for more than 15 years; serving and carring people is my job. I had learned through my ministry how to be patient with people and I often put myself in their shoes to feel their pains. I am taking some prerequisite courses right now at Glendale Community College to be enrolled in the Registered Nurse Program. In addition I had been working with my own Organization since 2007. We are out of funding now and my organization mission was to take care of homeless (www.thegoodshepherdsco.org).

I love to help others in anyway I can, I am creative, a great listener, pleasant to be with, I engage clients in community,home, and other activities, I am well organized, and pay close attention to details.

I became a care giver because I enjoy helping others, especially those who truly need it. I enjoy getting to know those I'm caring for. There is a lot of satisfaction in helping others. I've worked with elderly and disabled clients and have always done my job exceedingly well. I am very personable and get along with everyone. I'm a hard worker with great organization skills. I'm a quick learner and I enjoy cleaning.

I became a caregiver because I have always loved being a helping hand. I love having relationships with my patients and knowing I am helping them as much as I can. I am proud of how of staying in this course, because nothing makes me happier. I am a dedicated worker.

When I was 18 I decided to become a CNA because my step father was a RN...he enjoyed his job so much so I felt that I would enjoy helping others. I like being a caretaker because it makes me feel good by helping others. I would have to say that I am proud that I accomplished most of my prerequisites for nursing. Helping others through life is my passion. I am a compassionate, and kind hearted person who takes great pride in all that I do.

My initial experience as a caregiver came about when my mother suffered a stroke. Her rehab was about a six week period in a hospital/rehab setting and I spent 24 hours a day with her learning how to assist her in her recovery. She was frightened and worried about her recovery and I needed to be there for her. I guess one could say we learned together and we made quite a team!

I love being a caregiver its very rewarding and I always go the extra mile to be sure my client is content.

I believe I am a good caregiver because I like structure and taking care of others. Caregiving came naturally to me, being the oldest of 4 and a then a mother it all just clicked. I knew things that needed done and those that I didn't I asked and learned. There are many things I enjoy about caregiving but the one thing I mostly like is learning how every patient/client is different and challenging myself to meet their need. I am proud that through this job I learned how wound care works and how dress a wound.

My name is Kaysha. I have four years of caregiving experience, I am currently going to school working towards my RN. When I was younger my great grandma had Alzheimer's disease and I remember as a child I would go to her nursing home and paint her and other ladies nails.. and from that point on I had such great passion to care for elders. I give top quality care and treat whoever is in my care as if it where myself, my mother, my grandmother, etc.. I go above and beyond to provide the best care. I love what I do, I wouldn't say there is anything I love most about it because I enjoy all of it, especially when I see whoever in my care is happy. Some of my hobbies include baking, and going to the gym, I love being active. I am also a huge family person.

I am beginning in care-giving field. However, I over 18 years volunteer experience and a BS in Human Services. I did an internship at Clearview Alzheimer's Facility, and found I enjoyed the social interactions and activities with their clients. They brought me joy. I was proud when one client's wife came in and was amazed that I had her husband playing "bones" or dominoes. It was than I realized how truly important even the simplest things are to the clients, and their families. I am organized and have office management skills. I like to cook, play games, and being a mom of two charming teenagers, I know what it takes to run a household, and all the errands that come with care-giving. In addition, I helped a friend with her twins and mother.
