I became a great caregiver due to my patients, I am a good listener, I learn by observing what my client may need or want. I was attracted to becoming a caregiver when I knew I wanted to be a nurse, I started housekeeping at a hosptial and I wanted to work my way up from there. Smiles and laughter of a client is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver. When they know you are there to put their safety and needs first. My personal achievement I am proud of is going to Psych Tech school that help me gain more knowledge and understanding of human behavior and disorders.

My personality traits consist of being upbeat with a positive outlook on life. I offer companionship and help with everyday chores and health without my client having to compromise their precious time and giving the simplicity of being able to enjoy the companionship that I offer and also of others without the work and tasks of the everyday life hassles getting in the way of you visiting with family and friends. The things that attracted me to being a caregiver were my grandparents who I had the chance to spend a lot of time with as a child and ultimately was blessed to help them through the end stages of life and take the journey along side them. That was when I knew this is where I needed to be. I enjoy being there for those that simply just need an ear or helping hand and those who need someone in their life to get their minds off of the heartbreak of certain everyday life events and disabilities. One personal achievement I can say I'm very proud of and always will be my number one is raising two beautiful healthy children.

I want to help my clients as much as possible so they can stay in their own home. I love working with the elderly and disabled you can learn so much. Helping other people. My military service. I am a veteran of 20 years and I feel this is one of my greatest accomplishments.

I am 18, looking for more experience to prepare myself for my dream. I have experience with hospice. My freshman year of high school my aunt was really ill and I gave her medicine and monitored her breathing.

I am very Patience, Compassion,Attentiveness,Dependability and Trustworthiness. Ability to follow set rules and protocol, Astute observation skills, Time management and organization skills, Empathy and compassion. What attracted me to being care giver is when I was taking care or my Step dad when he was alive he has bed redden for 3 years during those years i learned a lot how to take care old people. The best part of being a caregiver for me is the feeling that I`m doing something positive with my time . I t just make me feel good to know that I`m having a positive impact.

I'm an very polite, have patients, love people, very friendly,and always positive. I took care of my grandma while my family couldn't. I would also stop by at a senior home and talk to everyone I got a chance to talk to. I whole ask them about there day went, or go for a little walk, listen to their stories when they were younger or talk about their family's.

Hi! My name is Debbie, Im 21 years old and I've been a CNA for 3 years. I've worked with all different age groups including children. Before my grandmother passed, I had been her caregiver. I love the look on a persons face when they've been taken care of and still have a sense on independence. Hi, my name is Hillary Hetrick. I have been in the Healthcare field since 2004. I was a certified nurse assistant for six years, and a caregiver for five years. I have experience with taking care of the elderly, disabled people, and people with mental health disorders. I also am a pet-friendly person who doesn't mind helping with a dog or cat. I love cooking your favorite meals, cleaning and organizing, gardening, fulfilling your shopping needs, providing transportation to doctor appointments or recreational activities, or just being there as a friend. People who know me describe me as a "little ray of sunshine". People I have cared for respond well to my caring and personable personality. Clients' family and friends have often agreed that their loved ones are happier, healthier, and have a more positive outlook on life when I become their caregiver.

I'm friendly loving and caring person.Since I got here in the US I been taking care my late husband until he passed.I always enjoy helping people and comfort them mostly those who need help.I went to school for nursing but I didn't finish since my husband needed me most when he was sicker and I got a certificate of Nursing Assistant in Westhills,Lemoore where I got my Associates of Liberal Art also.

I am a college student interested in health care, and I have a passion for helping people. I am reliable, patient, and always willing to learn. When my best friend was diagnosed with cancer during my senior year, I decided to switch to homeschool and become her full-time caregiver. I never realized how much passion I had for helping others when they can't care for themselves. I also realized how tiring and draining it can be to watch someone so close to you get sick. I am a nursing major right now and I would love some more experience and the ability to spend more time and build relationships with people. I hope to be able to use my knowledge and passion for loving people to be a blessing to someone and truly impact their life.

I care immensely for the people I have had the honor of being a caregiver to. I have a big heart. I'm honest and hard working. I have three wonderful children and they are who I strive to be my best for.

Hi, I am a 32 year old mom with 5 kids and 3 at home. My passion is to care for others. I have been a care provider since I was 16 years old. It started with my grandpa when his legs got amputated.I have also worked in board and care facilities for the elderly and mentally disabled. I have a car for my transportation to get to and from and to do what is needed to help.I have also done CNA work but never got my license only because I didn't finish my class. I've been a caregiver for about a year total. I took a CNA course when I first graduated high school not knowing what I was really wanting to do for a career. Once I started clinical I fell in love. I loved being able to help the patients be independent and feel like their voices were still being heard.
