Hello! My name is Karen Hernandez but most people call me by middle name Michelle. I am very fun outgoing and enthusiastic about my job. I love learning and going through new experiences with my patients or clients. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me the experience to view life in a different perspective and with all my daily routines I would have with the client it'll motivate not only me but them as-well into pushing themselves to better themselves. And my very own personal achievement would be seeing my clients or patients progress through the time I'm working with them.

I enjoy working with those that are in need of care or just some companion, and make sure that they can get around with their daily activities, I enjoy cooking home cook meals. Some people don't have family around and I like them to know that there are people out here that care. I became a Caregiver case of my grandmother. She had Cancer and I wanted her to have the best care that could be given and to me that was with a family member. I am 47 years old, married , one daughter and one granddaughter. I love being with my family on holidays. Family is the most important thing in my life making sure they are taking care of.

What makes me a great care giver is that I am compassionate and show empathy to the person I am caring for , and I Iike to do what I can to help the person I am caring for . I've been a Caregiver for seniors more than 4 years and the smile and joy on their faces Makes me feel I have done a good job. I have always enjoyed helping other people so I know I am doing the right thing and love what I do, that's my second pay check !. Last but not least I am proud of my self of becoming a a more independent , responsible and caring person, I am not still done with my goals , but I'm working on it and I know I will get there ..

I have been in the nursing/caregiving field for the last 14 years, I have experience with bathing, Dressing, exercising and Incontinent patients. One of my specialties are transportation. I not only transport the patient, I am able to speak with the Technicians and doctors regarding the patient's health care and needs. Then report to a Family member, or conservator if requested. My companion skills are excellent as well, especially when it comes to calming down a client with Alzheimer's or dementia. I enjoy helping out, disabled and elderly clients.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of people. I like caregiving becauce I make new friends. I earn people's trust right away. I am very caring and responsible. I am fluent in English and Spanish.

What made me want to become a caregiver is I love to give more so then to receive. I really lice being a caregiver we make all the difference in people in need with their daily everyday living. I am a licensed vocational nurse and physical therapy aide. I have experience working in a hospital setting, nursing home, medical clinic and home health. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I especially enjoy working with the elderly. I feel this is my specialty. I find I can connect well with that era.

I became a caregiver when my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, I was working as a medical assistant at that time but left that position to care for my grandmother full time. I feel that giving a person the ability to remain in the comfort of their home helps them retain their dignity and give family members the peace of mind knowing their loved one is being cared for in an environment that they are all comfortable with. I'm currently pursuing my degree in nursing to increase my knowledge and ability to help individuals.

I have always enjoyed caring for people. As a LVN nurse I have always worked with the geriatric community and I love it! I enjoy hearing beautiful memories and stories. I love helping, educating and most of all just embracing and helping in any way I can.

I was previously certified as a medical assistant. I'm also a young single mother of a three year old. I'm an honest young woman who loves to talk and help others. I feel as though I would specialize well in this industry as I have a fondant to older people do to their experience within this world as well as their intellectual knowledge. I love talking and getting to know someone so spending one-on-one time together would be a great treat for me. I also have a great sense of humor I chose to become a stay-at-home mom simply because I wanted to run a household and take care of someone. Now that I've been doing that for a few years, I'm sure care giving would be a great experience for me and it's definitely an area that I feel I can excel in.

I make my clients feel valued and comfortable.i am a retired employee who worked in the telecommunication industry who always gave excellent customer service always putting myself in there shoes whn it came to problem solving..I love helping and serving people who need help I want to be an asset and bring love joy and kindness to them and meet there needs beyond expectation..I enjoy whn I can make a person feel loved and valued that they are special..Im PROUD whn my service to them can put a smile on their heart.

I'm a compassionate person/caregiver. There was a professor in nursing school that once said "To treat elderly people as I would like to be treated it when I get at their age" and those words stayed with me since then and that's why I do my work with love and always thinking what can I do to make them feel better and putting myself what would've be if I'm in their position

I became a caregiver at a young age, at the age of 15, I had to helped with our great grandmother after she had a stroke and was paralyzed and wasn't able to get out of the bed anymore. I had/have enjoyed talking to her and reading books, playing cards and just being around her and the other elderlies I was so fortunate to worked with. I learned a lot over the years from my elderly client's/residence and I take great passion working with the elderly and see them get better at being themselves and becoming independent again little by little. The one thing I'm proud of in this life is seeing and watching my children grew up.

I started caregiving 2 years ago with no experience . I was scared I wouldn't be good, but majority of the women in my family are in this field so I decided to give it a shot. I never knew I'd be so good at it. I fell in love. This job is so rewarding and I get to come in contact with all walks of life. In just 2 years I'm proud to say I have experience with dementia and Alzheimer's, stroke patients, gtube, bed bound, diabetic, and Even patients who just want companionship.

I am an extremely warm and patient person who has taken care of my mother since I was a child. I have watched her deal with caretakers and nurses who were genuine as well as those who were not and it definitely drove me towards the medical field. I'm a student interested in becoming a general practitioner but currently am focusing on being an in home care provider. I understand how necessary it is to have someone in your home who is trustworthy, clean, and makes the patient or recipient happy and strive to do nothing less than just that. I am enthusiastic, EXTREMELY clean, bubbly, and helpful. I look forward to meeting with you! Took background check with IHSS.
