I am a certified care giver and have had a long history of taking care of the elderly. I understand that the needs and wants of patients often require a flexible approach and patience is an important attribute.

Hello! Caregiving is a personal calling for me. And taking care of patients is second nature to me. Patients/clients and their families describe me as pleasant to be with, dependable, trustworthy, honest, and with integrity. My presence in client's/patient's home make him/her as well his/her family feel relax and safe. Caregiving is not only about caring. It is about giving one's self in helping people manage their health concerns. I would like to make a difference in people's lives as we walk hand in hand in the quest for ways to improve client's health concerns. Thank you.

The most amazing thing about being a CNA is looking back and realizing how many lives you've touched and knowing that the little accomplishments are the ones that matter to people in need. I've been working at the Rehab Center of Bakersfield for the past two years helping people from all different walks of life, its made me better at my job because I've dealt with a lot of different people in different circumstances, I became a CNA to help people and the most amazing thing about my job is just how many people I have helped is uncountable, and being aware of just how big a difference you make in life simply by helping someone in need. I want to take the next step from being in a skilled nursing facility to because a caregiver to a specific person. I love my job so much but I want to have the ability to work with a single person and give them all my time in effort and really help them take steps in getting better and stronger or even just being someone to lean on for comfort in their time of need. My best quality is my ability to get along with people, especially my patients, I love them with all my heart and they love me in return. I love to be able to make someones day a little better than the one before. I'm looking for a good fit to work with and really connect with, I am only looking to take one job so I can put my efforts into the best care possible. references available upon request

Why I'm I a good caregiver? I have a personality that can entertain my patients/clients. I am very calm and understanding and I love to make people laugh in general. I am a positive person. As for experience, I recently just finished an LVN program this August 2013. While I was in the program I was working as a private caregiver for more than a year. As for my skills I know how to transfer patients, showering assistance,dressing, and giving bed baths. I am very reliable, always on time and very friendly.
