I believe that sometimes seniors just need someone to listen and know that they are still important and relevant. I've worked in the retail world for years and have dealt with many older folks and really enjoy talking with them and listening to their stories. I did her laundry, wash her all dishes every day, I do housekeeping. .I was in charge of all her medicinal needs, billing, and any errands she needs me to run. I've also taken Child Psychology class and taken care of disabled children at elementary schools. I'm a very ambitious, dedicated, motivated, caring, empathetic person. I have strong work ethic. I'm very organized, but I would be more than grateful to work with people that are willing to let me take care of their loved one.

I love working with people, I cared for my dad's wife before she passed away.Towards the end of her life she had dementia and required extensive around the clock care. That how I first got interested in becoming a care provider. Being a care provider is exciting for me,because I love helping others in any way I can, it makes me feel good when I can brighten someone's day.

Frankly, I sort of fell into caregiving many years ago. I have learned to appreciate life more through family and clients ,e.g., attending a school dance with an autistic client and aiding in their enjoyment and advancement in social circumstances, getting someone housebound out to shop, get their hair done, or just sit under a beautiful tree at the park and eat lunch.
