Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I look forward to building a close relationship with my clients and their family. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. I find capturing their legacy most fascinating...respecting their dignity. Lastly and most importantly, meeting them when/where they need it most in their life's journey... be it a speedy recovery or their last chapter in the book of life.

I am the grandaughter of a woman who owned a nursing home when I was young. I used to visit that grandmother and loved talking with the patients that were under her care. It was then that I began to feel an affinity for the elderly. I began caregiving by taking care of that grandmother in 1989 and from there worked in facilities and in the home for the next three decades; the highpoint of my career being an 11-month extended period wherein I took personal care of my mother and her estate. I have completed prerequisites for a local LVN program as well as prerequisites for another RN program and was accepted into said LVN program; but my mother was too ill for me to complete that program. After mom passed away, I chose to serve a mission for the Lord. I love the companionship of the elderly. My name is Christine, and I am a very comfortable person with other people. I started out in nursing when I was in high school, and before I graduated, I received my cna certificate. At that time, I was 17, I worked in serveral Senior care hospitals, and homes. It took me until now, I decided to go back to my calling of healthcare.
