I truly enjoy caring for people because I'm a compassionate person. I'm reliable and hardworking! I also use to care for my grandmother when she was sick with cancer! I loved her dearly! We had a close relationship! Seniors are very knowledgeable and nice to work and care for. I've been a caregiver for ten years! Im also friendly and patient as well! I truly enjoy what I do!

I am sociable, outgoing, optimistic, patient and understanding. I have experience from a skilled nursing facility and am able to adjust and accommodate with different personalities/behaviors. I decided on caregiving to improve my experience and learn more than what I am knowledgeable on now. I strive to be able to use my knowledge and experience to make a good difference and help assist someone with their daily life in a positive manner. I am proud that I was able to assist those before, and progressively, they would come out of their shell. I was able build amazing bonds with them to enhance the quality of their life.

I have been a certified nursing assistant since 2005. Showing my empathy and compassion as a Caregivers/ CNA will let the pateint and family know that I turly care, love, and put my all in what I do as a CNA/Caregiver. I am very family oriented! I have so many achievements but I have one that will really always remain in my heart! Walking into a old client room to get him up and he was going into Diabetic Shock (Hypoglycemia)! Called 911 and I quickly ran into the Kitchen and got some OJ and put 3 spoons of sugar into it to get his sugar levels back up quick.

I am an attentive, caring, loyal and compassionate individual who has alway been drawn to those who cannot adequately care for themselves.. I take pride in the care I provide to those in need mainly because there is alway a need. I began caregiving for a high school friend who was paralyzed in a car accident. I then took care of my mother, my husband, my older sister until their deaths. I truly feel that caregiving affords the client or family member dignity. The interaction with ones who need assistance allows me to express compassion to those in need and provide a service that in most cases allow them to remain at home. Building close relationships and memories. My willingness to take on providing care comes from my heart. I am moved by the need that ones have to assist in a time of need. I am a widow of 11 years with a background in finance & accounting credit and collections of 25+ years.I am a mother of 4, grandmother of 14 current foster mom of several children. My personal achievement is that I was able to keep my promise to those that I cared for allowing them to remain at home until they fell asleep in death which in most cases prolonged their lives being in a familiar environment with loved ones.

I am a very patient person, I listen and follow instructions accordingly. I started working as a caregiver privately after caring for my grandmother who was placed on hospice in 2002. It was a rewarding yet devastating experience. Caring for my grandmother at the ending stage of her life and watching her take her last breath. I mostly enjoy being needed, and trusted by whom I am providing care for. The one thing I am most proud of is being a good mother to my daughter. She is the best thing that was given to me to love and protect.
