I have been in the healthcare field for over 5+ years, I started with personal family friends and moved on with bigger companies. I work with children and adult with various disabilities - I am cpr/first aid certified and also licensed under the board of pharmacy.

I'd been a caregiver for about 10 years now with experienced in almost all care giving settings.Dementia, bed bound, hospice, oxygen machine,foley catheter, transfers, sponge and bed bath, diaper change medication reminder, light housekeeping, cooking,etc.

I decided to become a CNA/Home Health Aide after the passing of my Mother. My Mother and I lived together for 11 years. The last 4 years of her life she suffered from dementia. After caring for her, I realized that I had acquired considerable knowledge and experience in this area, that would be helpful to other families facing the same challenges. I began my career working for an agency in Santa Barbara; but after the fire and mudslides, I joined an agency in Camarillo. I have been with them for about 3 years. However, at this time I would like to work directly with clients and their families. I am very patient and understanding when helping seniors with their challenges. I believe that seniors have much to offer if given the opportunities that they still look for in their daily lives. If you think that I may meet your requirements, I would be happy to hear from you.

I am a friendly person, as well as patient. I like to keep the house clean, and I'm very organized. I enjoy taking care of the elderly because I feel it's my calling to give them care. I am proud to be a cautious and responsible person.

I consider myself a great caregiver because its more than just my career or a profession. I enjoy caring for people because I know it makes their life much more easy and comfortable, not just for the person I'm caring for but also their loved ones and that's also my greatest achievement.

I've had a good amount of experience since I've been helping families since 1998. Some personality traits that I've obtained being in the field are compassion, patience, attentiveness and dependability. Something that attracted me was that I enjoy helping elderly patients with their individual needs. It has always been my calling to help others because I know I'm doing something for them that they might nor be able to do for themselves. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that I have learned from so many patients different set of skills. These skills that I have gained I know will help me help other patients in the future.

I enjoy giving care to individuals with specialized needs. The person becomes like family to me. I have done home care for many individuals over the years. I have also worked in a skilled facility and hospice, I was raised by my wonderful Nana and she taught me so much growing up. I have always enjoyed hearing stories, looking at family photos and helping each person I work with to bask in the memories of their lifetime. What could be better?

I'm a great caregiver because my clients are my family, treating each one as i would treat my loved ones. I decided to be a caregiver after taking care of my grandmother who suffered from dementia and cancer. I enjoy knowing im giving the best care possible to loved ones and ensuring families know they are in good hands. I'm proud to be a mother of two wonderful little girls!

I've been doing caregiving for over 5 years private in home and in a facility. I like helping people and care about the well being of people. I like doing caregiving as a job because my gained experience have gave me confidence for the work and it makes me feel accomplished helping people. I'm patient, strong, and have a positive outlook and friendly personality. A personal achievement I'm proud of is when a patient told me how thankful they were to get my companionship and help because it helped and made a difference in there life in a positive way.

I came from the big family, and my grandma raised me when I was 5 years old my mom teach me how to deliver my sister, cut the cord and clean the baby and she was inspired since then helping my parents raising 11 girls and 3 boys. I left home very young look for a job and support my school. and caregiving job is the most experience I had. so when I came to America nursing school is the common job I've seen most needed. so raising my two boys as a single parent was not easy, but the hardship of a caregiving experienced made me the expert today of any ages especially for elders.

The first time I ever thought about being a caregiver was when I was 22 years old.Having the feeling the need to take care of people other than yourself was never hard for me as I grew up in life.When my mother was sick going through dementia I took care of her throughout the whole process.It was as extremely difficult job because it was someone close to my heart,but I had to be her backbone that everything will be just fine which eventually did.She was getting her old self back which was great.So as far as that that's when I decided to make cargiving as my career.

I'm a great caregiver because I love helping people I'm in the medical field for medical assistant and knowing that I can change someone's life is very a great way to make someone's loved one friend family member happy
