When I worked as a nurse I was able to learn excellent communication skills, patient (customer) care, along with organization, and written skills. With my volunteer work, I have been able to increase my network with others and learned further leading skills. While doing my volunteer work I have discovered my love in teaching and am currently striving to become a high school teacher. Since I am currently going to a university I am looking for a part-time job that will not interfere with school. I still love taking care of people and want to help others.

I'm an affable, outgoing individual who's always eager to meet new people, an essential attribute to being a fantastic caregiver. I was initially attracted to caregiving through babysitting my nephew whom has autism, I loved how hands on and engaging the experience was that I quickly decided I wanted to help others, from all walks of life. Since then, I've gained a multitude of skills and knowledge from working with so many wonderful people. My favorite aspect of caregiving is being able to provide diligent and consistent care, I also enjoy discussing the past and present with my patients, their insight is awesome! Aside from caregiving, I enjoy making art in various forms, such as painting.

What makes me a GREAT caregiver? Well, as a young girl I always had my mindset to become a Registered Nurse to truly take care and provide the help when one is in need. As today, I have taken the steps to becoming an RN but in the meantime, I had got my first job as a caregiver at a facility. Where I knew I loved to become a hospice RN later in the future.
