Compassion and diligence are two things that I pride myself in when referring to my role as a nurse. Being a caregiver comes naturally as I am a mother and nursing was something I always wanted to pursue. Improving someones quality of life gives me a sense of fulfillment that is unlike any other profession.

Hi my name is Jocelyn ! I'm a very outgoing personable person with a positive attitude , I have a huge passion for helping others that need help, I've been a medical assistant for the past year and a half . What attracted me most about being a caregiver is the fact that I can impact and make a difference in someone's life that needs help.

Patience, companionship, trustworthy, reliable, dependable. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders. I you enjoy hearing people's stories and learning from older generation. A personal achievement that I'm proud of currently is finishing college and becoming an M.A.

Empathy and compassion. It is essential that a great caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, I will let the person know that they care about them. For instance, I will try and do what I can to help, not because I have to, but because I want to. I enjoy making my clients smile and feel at ease.

I first started caregiving in 2010 and fell in love with it, I love to take care of people and being there in time of their need. It brightens my day to see smiles on peoples faces and i can never leave work without seeing that smile. I am working on being a nurse in the future and this is a great start for me. I have been with clients who need as little as companionship to those who are on hospice. When i started this job I never stopped doing it. Because I love what I do. Besides the fact that I used to work in a nursing home, my mother has worked in a nursing home for over 10 years and I have learned so much from her. I have taken care of close loved ones for as long as I can remember. The elderly are very precious and need to be taken care of like they once took care of us. My mother was badly burned in her youth and i have always been there to help her when needed. My sister was in a near death car accident a couple years back and again I was always right there during her recovery. I will always strive to use my integrity to make the best choices in all situations.

I have been in the caregiving business since i was a teenager. I grew up in a household with a dad that wasnt in the best of health and grandparents that were also not in the best shape. I have dealt with dementia patients and alzheimers disease patients. As of right now ive been working as a medical assistant to further my career however caregiving has always been a passion. I've taking care of people for 20 years. I enjoy meeting new people and being able to help them and listen to stories about there past. I was able to take care of my mother and father with there end of life care. When my brother was hit by a drunk driver I decided it was time follow my dreams in nursing.

I'm a kind, caring and loving person. I have experience from taking care of children with disabilities to elders who need care and companionship. In 2009 my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. In 2010 she had a stroke, an because of the disorder,she had loss of memory and other mental abilities severe enough to interfere with her daily life. I moved back to Ohio and moved in with her. When I moved in she didn't have the ability to do anything on her own. What I love about caregiving is just really being able to help a person in need. In 2014 I in-rolled at Bryman College for medical assisting and the school closed down 140 hrs into 200 hrs left at my externship site. I was determined to get into the health care field, so I enrolled into a new school and completed the program again. I've been doing in-home care for awhile and I love it. It took me awhile to find out what I wanted to do with my life, but after what me and my family went through with my grandmother, I find great fulfillment in my career choice in the health care field.
