I do my best to tend to the needs of my clients. I offer great companionship and a great ear to listen to. What the client wants matters. I am not here to control their life but to assist with daily tasks to make them feel whole and in control again. I am very understanding, open minded and family oriented. I aim to make my client feel as safe and comfortable as I can. I became a caregiver when my father became disabled. What better way to give back the love and support he has given me by helping him and my family. As I became older I decided to become an IHSS employee. I love what I do because I made a change in someone else's life. I am here to help to my best abilities.

I have worked as a caregiver for over 20 years in the community, while raising a child with Cerebral Palsy. It has been my passion and personal calling to assist the elderly & adults with disabilities to overcome, and conquer everyday challenges. And to live being independent in the comfort of their homes. I am the mother to two beautiful daughters. My oldest is 31 & is an educator, & my youngest is 16 & in high school. I also have a handsome 3 yr. old grandson. My children are the joys of my life, & my greatest supporters as well as continuing to motivate me. I love what I do, & I hope I will be able to care for you & yours.

I am a hardworking caring person whom has worked with people with many different backgrounds. from children with autism to adults with Alzheimer's. I enjoy helping people and making sure they get exactly what they need in a timely manner. I am very loving , caring and protective person . I have taken care of my grandma with Alzheimer's while watching my godfather suffer through the same thing. I have watched my father battle with epilepsy and I have a NIne year old daughter whom deals with epilepsy everyday. I recently watched my aunt go thru a heartbreaking battle with lung cancer, I also worked for a year and a half with NJ School Districts as a paraprofessional for children Preschool to High School with Behavioral Issues and Autism. With everything I have encountered I know the signs and what their care consist of . if it comes down to caring for someone whom just needs minor help I am ok with that as well. my personal achievement especially working as a PARA was the smiles I brought to their faces and the fact they could escape their situation even if its for the moment. I enjoy helping people because I know what its like to not have the help and needing someone .

I became a caregiver as a profession because it has always came natural to me to help people. I'm the oldest of ten children so I am a naturally a nurturer. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for about 8 years now. I worked at a mental Health Hospital for about 6.5 years I also did Hospice Care also for about a year. I love what I do. Helping people is everything to me young or old it does not matter.
