because I am loving and caring and I know that everyone needs someone that cares in their life. It is very fulfilling to see the joy In a persons eyes when they know someone cares. I lived with , and spent every waking moment with an 84 year old woman and loved every minute of it , for one and a half years. She is in a home now , I still see her 3 x a week. I raised 6 children and I have 7 grandkids. I worked for the same company for 23 years.I believe everyone deserves to be happy, I am non confrontational, in a traffic situation I would blow a kiss to a offender rather than flip them off. life is too short to be so angry. I love life and everything that goes with it.

I enjoy giving my time one one with elderly and learning from the ma's well as me helping them. Many years ago my grandma use to come home and tell me the stories the elderly use to tell her. I'm 22 years old and I started working with children first before working with elderly. The reason I decided to work with the elderly people was when I visited my great grandma at here home. This was my first time ever going in a retirement home and as soon as I walked in my heart felt for the elderly people because they need love, assistants,proper care etc. After that experiences I just feel in love with elderly people, I see them as children that been in the water too long that need everyday help. I think what makes me a great caregiver is my passion for helping others. My mother has been in remission from breast cancer for over 5 years, losing her left breast and lymph nodes while suffering from radiation burns and harsh chemo treatments. But I was there for her throughout it and she's been great ever since. That's one reason I wanted to be a caregiver and when my favorite cousin lost to a quick and vicious battle with cancer I felt a part of me was taken. Being a caregiver helps fill that void

Helping others is my passion and have always been! I have been a caregiver for 7 years! I just finished CNA class last week and I plan on becoming a Nurse! Hi, my name is Amber and I am 29 years old. I have been married to my wonderful husband for five years and we have two beautiful sassy children together. I am a very patient and compassionate person who enjoys helping others, however that may look. I feel we all have something to give and we can all learn from each other which is something that excites me about care giving. Plus I love working with people! I have my Bachelors degree in Applied Behavioral Science and would love to eventually return back to school (to receive my Masters in Counseling) when my little ones get a bit older.
