I am a people person, People say that I am fun to be around. What attracted me to being a caregiver was the fact that I took care of family members and i am a caring person. I enjoy listening to other peoples life experiences and stories. I am a mother of 5 young adults and is is happily married for 22 yrs.

I strive to treat others as I would like to be treated or want my loved ones to be treated. I grew up with someone really special to me disabled & this is where I learned to be compassionate, respectful, & protective of others who may need a voice or a hand. I enjoy spending time with residents, talking with & learning from them. Learning people's preferences & incorporating them in their care brings such satisfaction & joy to them it brightens my day knowing I made a difference in someone's life. I was awarded employee of the month after 2 months of working in a long term facility for teamwork, respect for the residents, family & staff enough to hear & see them & paid attention to the little details that were important to them.

I am a great listener, I am compassionate, and I like working with people in need. I have experienced working with almost all types of patients. I consider them as my mother, grandmother, aunty, and my grand parents.I like to treat them the way I want my family members to be treated. The ability to make a difference in people's life. Putting a smile in their face.

Caregiving came to me as an opportunity to make a genuine difference in my own family. When it comes to taking care of those who you truly love we don't second guess it, we don't see it as a hassel, and we don't hesistate. This career path has taught me more about myself and how to do things better with every client I come across. I learned to expand my patience, my understanding of mental and physical disabilities, and to individualize all clients daily living routines.

I am always trying to make conversations with any of my patients because I feel like talking to a patient makes a big difference. I always like to make sure my patients are well and always happy. I decided to become a caregiver because I enjoy making my patients happy by helping them with what they need. I enjoy being parts of patients life' I like making a difference in their life by helping them out or just making them happy by talking to them. I know making a conversation with patients can seem so little but can mean so much to them because it shows that I care. I am proud of the amount of people I have been able to help.

I'm A devoted individual with ample years of experience helping my disabled mother. In fact, that's what inspired me to become a caregiver professionally. Since childhood I've been compassionate about helping others, those with and with out disabilities. I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy helping those who just need a little more help than others and being able to give back a little sense of "life" to my clients.

I'm a very caring person who enjoys the company of the Elderly. Also I'm very patient. I had the personal experience of taking care of my mother for 12 years. She had two open heart surgeries, stroke, broken hip, CHF and worked daily with Hospice for over a year. She had wounds on her legs (due to edema) that I had to tend to every day. I fed, bathed and dressed her. I also was a caregiver for two of my friends Mothers of which Hospice was involved also. I wish I would have gone into the Health field as I believe I would have made a difference.

I am a kind, passionate and caring nursing assistant that will completely satisfy my residents with all of their needs. I wanted to be a nursing assistant because as I was growing I would be in and out of facilities due to family complications, due to the impact they are able to give individuals really motivated me to do the same. I really enjoy being able to support and satisfy my residents with all their needs, where I get pleased when I was able to do whatever I could to impact their life's and make tasks easier for them. My personal achievement was being able to make the PTK All-USA Academic Team, where although there were many obstacles throughout the way, I was able to persevere!

I am a highly empathetic person and enjoy helping others. If I know I have helped eased someone's burden or helped them pursue their passions, I am fulfilled. I have an excellent work ethic and I'm detail oriented. My personality easily lends itself to senior care and companionship. I have a neuroscience and cognitive science education background and am training to become an Occupational Therapist.

I found my passion to help others in the medical field. I want to assist others in improving their quality of life, and to be there every step of the way. I am patient, hardworking, fun, and athletic, and hope to bring joy and comfort to others' lives. My ultimate goal is to become a registered nurse, then an acute care nurse practitioner in the emergency department.

I truly love what I do. I have always loved caring for others with compassion and understanding. I chose this path to give those who need care the very best experience and care available. Not only for my patient but also their family. Ive built lasting friendships with all I've provided care for. I do not have my background check k through Care.com because I am registered with the state of California, have clean background and fingerprinting done through the DOJ. I am first aid and CPR certified. I am handy with anything around the house .I also enjoy doing anything outdoors. If you're into crafts , I bring those as well. I enjoy doing whatever it takes to make sure you or your loved one has the best day while I am there. My fees are negotiable depending on time or care needed. I have excellent local references. I try to be sensitive to my clients need for dignity in extremely vulnerable circumstances and treat all clients the way I would want to be treated. I became a caregiver by accident. I did daycare and from there I cared privately for a few special needs children and then was offered a job with and elderly client. I saw the need for elder care and I'm glad to care for people who can no longer care for themselves. I'm proud of being dependable. I've been with 3 clients until the end and was honored that they wanted me with them on their journeys. I am honest, trustworthy, punctual, professional, kind, considerate, bubbly, empathetic, compassionate and gentle. I chose the patient care profession to help people, be it on an ambulance or in the home. I enjoy helping the elderly remain in their homes with grace and dignity. While I am proud of being able to work on an ambulance on a tribal reservation, I am most proud and feel blessed that I was able to care for my own grandmother for the final fifteen years of her life.

I love helping people.. my heart is really big and open to anyone that I can love. I am outgoing and very vibrant.I was given an opportunity to help other cause we all need a helping hand. I believe that the reason why I love this job so much is because I love to help and learn . Seniors love to talk abou their past, and I always find it very delighting as well. I also consider myself very patient and capable. I was very young when I first started working with seniors, now it has been a little over three years. I am also majoring in English which can always come in handy. The one thing I am mostly proud of is my sense compromise. In the past, seniors and their families have told me that I have a great personality, and that they felt confident leaving their loved ones under my care.

Hey there, I was raised in Anchorage Alaska. I moved back to San Diego in 2018 and I got into caregiving two years later I've always loved helping people and having it as my job I just fell in love with it. I get along well with families and i'm very nice and easy going.
