I have a high level of experience as a caregiver through the whole process of care. From start to finish. Lots of families have enjoyed my care services. I provide comfort and decrease the amount of stress a family may be going through during this difficult time. I personally care for all my clients as my own family. With lots of extra love, emotional support and encouragement. I love what I do and all my clients love me as well. I have a wide range of skills and over 12 yrs experience.

I am a career recruiter who has transitioned to health and fitness. I have been the primary caregiver for my Mom in SF since my Dad died 2 years ago. She is now back to exercising and baking and I couldn't be happier. She is still forgetful, but she is in her own home and happy. I am attracted to being a caregiver as I feel our seniors are forgotten about as they age (as we all age). Being active with my Mom, has helped me realize I would like to do the same with others that are closer to me in traveling distance. I just completed my personal training certification and what I'd like more than anything, is to work with seniors on keeping their bodies in motion. What I like the most is the personal reward in helping someone else. My personal achievement is having learned more patience in working with my mom and also my Personal Training certification to help others with their health.

I am a pediatric RN with a background in hematology and oncology looking for something part-time! I have a strong background in home health and long term care . I love working with people and find that nursing has definitely allowed me to handle more delicate individuals who require a specific kind of care. I utilize checklists to help me care for clients and avoid medical mistakes. - I am teamwork-oriented and enjoy getting to know my co-workers in order to form professional relationships. This makes the work setting much more inviting to me. - I am humble and willing to learn new skills and information that might help me improve my care for the clients. - I have always been interested in meeting people and caring for others. It is my passion to help people in any way that I can. Being a registered nurse allows me to meet and care for people in need indiscriminately. Being able to give back to the community is also what drew me to become a caregiver. - As stated above, it is my passion to help others. I feel fulfilled when I am able to give back and help those in need. - My personal achievement that I am most proud of is coming to the United States and graduating from nursing school. During the school semesters, I was able to help many of the clients even with my limited skills. As I acquired more skills, I was able to care for my client confidently. An example of my proudest moment is when I was the only one that the client allowed to give an injection. This particular client was a challenging one because they would refuse most of the care from other providers. However; I was able to get through that obstacle by being a good listener and providing empathy to build trust between me and them. To be able to get through to someone is a humbling achievement.

I became a care giver because I've always had a love for older adults. I took care of both my grandmother and 94 year old great aunt. I also worked at The San Francisco Jewish Home for elders that has given me the experience and patience to work with the elderly. I like being a care giver because it makes me happy when I am able to help older adults in need. I am proud to say that I have achieved my second year in the nursing program at University of San Francisco and is looking forward to graduate and work in geriatrics someday. I am a caring, responsible adult that takes ,pride in working with elderly.

I gain great personal satisfaction from serving people and meeting their needs. After a career as a Marriage and Family therapist I come to caregiving with a lot of experience and dedication. I have been working as a caregiver for 13 years and have helped severely handicapped people to people who want meals prepared or need help getting to doctors appointments. I have experience bathing, dressing and moving seniors. One bonus is if you would like, I can bring my small therapy dog with me to care for you. I have excellent references from families of those I cared for.

I have an out going personality and a good sense of humor. I have traveled and met people from different places. I find that taking the time to listen to their life experiences is enlightening. It is a lot easier to work with others when you get to know them. I provided care for both of my parents when they were no longer able to care for their own needs. I am proud of the fact that I helped my Dad to regain some of his independence through physical therapy and eye surgery. Caregiving is challenging work, but, when you see that person reach a personal goal, it is very encouraging.

I like nursing because it's a profession that never stops giving. You learn new things every day, and the opportunity for growth is almost unlimited. I feel so good inside when I see improvement in my patients and also when giving emotional support by holding hands of family members who have just experienced tragedy. Actually, it gives me inner peace that I was able to help somebody.
