I have reliable transportation, I'm attending school to obtain my NA (Nursing Assistant) certificate I'm available for day shift, overnight shifts, and can do 12hr -16hr shifts on weekends.

I became a caregiver because I have elderly family members and friends who need care. They sometimes can't do things themselves and I help them when I'm close to them. Also when I was growing up I've always been wanting to be a nurse doesn't matter what kind of nurse, but all I love to do is help people. I think what helps me be a more helpful caregiver is that I always try different things or methods to help the person understands what to do.

My names Christine, I'm 32 years old and have been doing caregiving for the last two years. I was drawn to the field after my grandmother fell ill and I helped her through it. I am a very respectful person, trustworthy, great work ethic and friendly. I find caregiving has really enriched my life and given it direction as well as enabled a lot of personal growth. What I enjoy most about caring for individuals is giving my joyful energy to them and hopefully make a change into their lives. Just speaking and learning about my client is interesting to learn because there is many things to be grateful for. I have achieved a lot of success so far in my young age but overall I would say my mentality is the strongest trait that I have. I have developed my brain at a very young age that takes some people their whole live to realize so I am very glad that I can change peoples lives to have hope for theirselves..

I've worked with adults and children with disabilities for over 14 years. This field is not meant for anyone and those who it's meant for have stuck around in the field. I love helping others and seeing the accomplishment of individuals that I help. I love what I do, I'm patient, knowledgeable, caring, kind, CPR certified, family man, great personality, great work ethic, get along great with staff and individuals and willing to learn and grow in the job field. I'm a husband and father of 2 great children (14 & 3) and I would say that is my greatest accomplishment loving and parenting my kids and watching them grow.
