I became a caregiver so that I can help seniors remain in the comfort of their homes as they age and health declines.I love what I do,I care about others physical and emotional well being.I have pursued my health education by becoming a licensed CNA,I take great pride in my services.My proudest achievement has been caring for a 68 year old Parkinsons client for well over a year,allowing him to pass away in his home surrounded by loved ones.I am currently with a hip replacement client as a live in for the past year.I like long term assignments,getting to know others,their past accomplishments,history.I am friendly,compassionate,And utterly dedicated to the well being of others.

The thing I love the most about caregiving is the long-term relationships that I have made with my clients. Also, nothing is meaningless when you're a caregiver. Big or small, every task is important to the person you're taking care of. No matter what, you get to make a real difference in this person's daily life and improve their overall well-being

I am a retired Paramedic and am looking for part time work. I love to learn new things. I care about people and have empathy for others. I have been a caregiver most of my life. I raised three children. I am good at multi-tasking. I took care of several elderly relatives. I am a good listener and like talking to people. I am proud that I have overcome all the fears in my life and that I completed a career in Emergency Medical Services.

I have over 30 years of experience as a care provider. I have worked with a wide range of clientele as well as ailments. From diabetes, congested heart failure/heart surgery, epilepsy and Alzheimer`s/dementia through hospice and end of journey I have experience to provide thorough, kind, compassionate, gentle loving care to you and your loved one. I have spent the last 17 years caring for individuals on a live-in basis. It is my privilege and honor to provide dignified, compassionate and consistent care for clients from all walks of life. I began as a care provider at a young age and even though I have tried other paths in life I am repeatedly drawn back to the care profession. Being a care provider is an emotionally rewarding calling.

I enjoy bringing comfort to peoples lives. One personal achievement that I'm most proud of is making someone smile, when they are having a rough time.

I am both a indoors and outside person. What attracts me to this career is the companionship that can be made when helping another. I find it helpful and healthy to communicate with people. I am a very social person and find it easy to interact with people. I enjoy the stories and conversations. This wouldn't be my first time working as a caregiver. During that time being a caregiver i had the responsibilities of transportation, cleaning, and giving my clients their medication. I had worked with several clients with different disabilities. I would stay the night and day for 4 days at house that my clients were at to care for them. One of the major achievements I've made is losing weight. To this day i have become more active and motivated to start a new journey to become a sports physical therapist. One of my goals are to compete in bodybuilding as well. I will complete goal along with my future career.

I am compassionte, patient, and I enjoy working a job that betters someone's life. I am punctual, hard working, and willing to go above and beyond to make someone's day better in any way I can. I enjoy caretaking because I am a single mom and I have caretaking in my nature. I do not mind challenging situations or situations that require hard work because it makes me feel good at the end of a days work to have accomplished such a day.

Who Am I? My name is Garret and I am a health care professional in my early 20's born and raised in northern California. My time living in nor'cal has only been interrupted once to attend Basic combat training in Oklahoma; because of this I have been known to bond well with veterans and seniors of a 'rural' disposition. I consider the morals and values learnt during my service to be the foundation of the man I am today. Who I am. LDRSHP: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless service, Honor, and Personal Courage What I do. My career in healthcare began post enlistment, I became a certified EMT to expand on the knowledge and training I received in the military. After becoming an EMT and developing my professional skills and experience I branched out to further my medical knowledge. I was sponsored by a local business to attend a school provided by the Red Cross. There I became a certified nursing assistant and graduated with honours in the class. It is my hope to enroll in an LVN program next year to pave the way for more opportunities and experience. My desire is to specialize in wound care.

I have always liked being in the medical field. I like helping people and taking care of them, Care-giving gives me a kind of happiness and pleasure because I get to help people who have no other way to care for themselves. I am a hard-working person, I am honest and I will take care of the person I am assigned like the person is my family member. I can drive, and I have a clear driving record.

Empathy, work ethics and making a positive difference in this world makes me a great caregiver. I became a hospice volunteer and paid caregiver after experiencing the excellent quality hospice care given to my mother 20 years ago; I live by the Golden Rule so I treat others as I would like to be treated if I were in their shoes. My personal achievements were to successfully transition 6 people from this life to eternity.
