My name is Cici. I am a passionate caregiver with over 12 years of experience. I started out as wanting a career in criminal justice as a probation officer, but after taking a year off to care for my dad who was in the last stages of lung cancer, I had a change of heart on what I wanted to do with my life. I'm a CNA, certified first aid and CPR gaining experience as I aspire to reach my goal as a RN. I really enjoy what I do, caring for the elders is my passion as it gives me a sense of family. I'm a fast learner, a very reliable and dedicated worker. I am the eldest in my family, so I am experienced running a household and keeping things in order.

I am passionate about what I do. I chose to be a caregiver because I love helping others. I am caring, loving and compassionate. I have over 8 years of experience with caring for and providing the care and love that is needed for the ones who are no longer able to care for themselves. it takes a special person to be a caregiver and I am that person. I have care for my elderly grandparents for 3years now. I enjoyed talking stories going for walks and cooking. On my down times I like to clean around and wash clothes, maybe read a book. I enjoyed talking and learning from the elders. It brings joy to my heart when I see them smiles it makes my entire day okay. I like to see accomplishments it's why I chose this field because I know that if I can put a smile on a elderly person face especially if they are going through a rough time and they manage to smile it makes me happy.

My Name is April and I am originally for northern California, I moved to Las Vegas in 2011. I got into the medical field because I like the whole aspect of helping people and making them feel better emotionally and physically. I love people and spending time with them, especially the elderly, I think they are very interesting because they have lived a long life and usually they have very interesting life stories. So, I think it is fun just to talk and listen to their past experiences. The personal achievement that I am proud of is that after being at the same career for twenty four years, I decided to go back to school and change my career. I get along with everyone and I am very experienced with working with the public.

I been working in medical profession since 2000. I got my diploma for my medical assistant as well as the CNA license. I really like working in this job, because I like helping people especially elderly and those who need my help. Also. Working with the elderly or especial people, makes me happy and as for me I enjoyed looking at them and I treat them as my family. I am a very hard worker and even in situations that I have never experienced before I never give up and I always find a way to do things the right way. I love what I do because over all it brings a smile to our elderly people that need us the most at times. Hopefully in the near future I can continue on my education on to becoming a Doctor, but with all the experience of being a caregiver, medical assistant and any other position that I experience in the journey.

I am a caring person who can provide helpful services to your loved one. I can assist with personal or companion care, as well as run errands/transportation and do light housekeeping. I am patient, loving and a great listener. I enjoy helping people who cannot take care of themselves. It is important for everyone to feel like they have control of their lives and if I can help them regain some of that control, I am doing my job effectively. Everyone needs help at some time in their life, but they don't always have someone to count on to fill that need. I can be that person for your loved one...I can take care of them just like you would if you were there. I am diabetic, so have experience taking care of other diabetics and cooking healthy meals for them. I help my parents all the time with their household needs and grocery shopping, which makes me feel like I am giving a little back for all the work they did taking care of me while I was growing up.

I didn't always want to be in the medical field. As a child I dreamed of being an accountant. I went to school at first to learn the front in of a medical office to combine my accounting skills and quickly fell in love with Healthcare. I then ended up getting an associates degree as Medical Assistant. After I graduated in got to experience working as a medical assistant as well as caregiving. I quickly learned how much I love taking care of people and how rewarding caregivers is. It was not easy to quit as a medical assistant with the good pay but I was not happy. I quit as a medical assistant and never went back. I have since then been a full time caregiver and have worked many years in the hospitals but I found I am much happier doing in home care because I can focus more attention on 1 person rather than 12 + people. I am working on getting my HHA certification while I continue in school to become an RN. As a RN I want to continue in school so that I can do the same thing I'm doing now but as an RN and possibly work for Hospice. I would say what makes me a good caregiver is passion. This isn't a job for me this is my career and what makes me happy in life. I feel I was put on this earth to help others and make a difference it's one of the reasons I volunteer for Hospice. Nothing is more rewarding to me then helping those in need especially the elderly. If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask.
