When I was 18 years old i worked in ag construction when i met a lady that offered me a job watching her husbands grandmother who suffered from sun downers and i have been a caregiver ever since. Being a caregiver has always come naturally to me. I have worked for private families, facilities, and agencies. Most of my experience has been working with Alzheimer/dementia patients with some experience working along side hospice care. Over the years i have revived promotions and employee of the months, but I'm particularly proud of being the only caregiver out of four to be asked back to work for a family. I am originally from Smartsville, Ca. and recently moved to Irving, TX. to be closer to family. I have AA degree in Healthcare and AS degree in Medical Assisting form Heald College. I graduated with honors and perfect attendance which I'm extremely proud of because i was going to school full time and working two jobs and it took a lot hard work and dedication.

I started doing caregiving jobs more than 15 years. I use to take care of my grand parents and that's why I love doing caregiving jobs, it's like taking care of my own family. I have a lot of experience and I do have references available.

I have worked as a Caregiver for over 30 years. I am a compassionate and dedicated person who has lots of love to share with Seniors. I live to put a smile on their faces and a little sunshine in their cloudy days. It's my way of giving back to our community of retired parents and grandparents; to go the extra mile with a little good deed and to let them know and feel that they deserve the best of care. At the end of the day, It feels so rewarding knowing that I had made a difference or may had made a positive impact in somebody else's day/life; that motivates me to give some more pampering and comforting love topped with moral respect, loyalty integrity. It gives me the greatest feeling that I've made someone happy... Working as a caregiver allows me to be more virtuous... it helps me to be a better person! I vowed to ethically serve all my clients with high moral and with utmost respect.

I absolutely enjoy taking care of and helping other people of all ages. I have been a Caregiver for 4 years, a CNA for 2 years and also owned and operated my own Childcare for a few years. It is very fulfilling to me to be able to bring a smile to someone who is down and to help them when they cannot help themselves. I am very friendly and have great interpersonal skills. My name is Jody Haffly and I would make a good caregiver because I enjoy helping people. I love helping anyone with anything they need help with or just giving them someone to talk to. I was working in a grocery store and noticed a lady needed some help bagging up her groceries. I asked her if she needed any help and she accepted it. I also helped her out to her car and unloaded her cart. She greatly appreciated my help and company.
