Hello! My name is Madison Wagner, I have been a Certified Nurses Assistant for a little over a year now. I am a third year college student at Adams State University, and newly accepted into the Nursing Program. I plan to finish my BSN degree at adams state university and continue my education to become a nurse practitioner. From a young age I have also aspired to help others, this was very prevalent when I visited third world countries and saw a lack of medical knowledge and resources. I am able to adapt quickly to new environments and able to adjust to fit your needs. I am also able to strategize quickly in case of emergency, while keeping your health and overall care as my number 1 priority.

I have worked in customer service since I was 17. I am all about customer care, so I believe as a caregiver I could be the best to care for them because I will go to high ends to do whatever makes them happy. I just graduated college to be a teacher. I'm taking 2 years off so I can go back to school to get my masters. My mom is a CNA and has been my whole life so when I was younger I would go with her to the nursing home she worked at and sit with everyone and just do whatever with them. I used to volunteer in high school when I lived here at nursing homes to sing to them or paint nails and stuff like that. I hope you will consider me.

I have worked with the elderly for quite some time. I appreciate our older people, and I tend to get along with everyone I meet. I have many years of experience in this field and never get tired of doing the work. I have realized as the years have passes how undervalued older people have become, and it makes me sad. I have also seen how prevalent depression is in the elderly and how the right person or gesture can help. i worked in assisted living and seen how a supervisor was treating the clients and together we fought to get her out. I have also seen them mistreated by physicians who won't treat them due to their age. i think everyone regardless of age should be treated with dignity and respect. Our older people have so much to offer if you just take the time to listen. I once thought that I couldn't do this job anymore, but i realize it is where my heart and passion is

I have been a caregiver on and off my entire life and find it to be most rewarding. It truly began when I was 12 helping care for my grandmother who had a series of strokes while living with us. Through the years I have worked with a variety of people in many environments from hospitals to home health, residential care to Laradon School. I am detail oriented, a self started, and task oriented. I believe we all have a calling and this is mine.

I use to be a music teacher and my love for kids has always been there. I love to help others. While I was caring for my great uncle, he spend time in a nursing home with a broken leg, then a hip. I would go everyday to help feed him and I would also visit with other residents by talking with them or wheeling them back to their rooms after meals. I would also take time to go see the whenever I had a chance when my uncle was home. I assisted with activities in the nursing home. I love to care and help others. Upon returning from caring from my uncle, I went back to work for a company I spent a couple months with in caregiving in youth group homes. Since I love kids, it was a no brainer. These kids have suffered greatly in their short lives and if I could provide a service to them, then I am content. I would play cards and board games with these kids as well as do crafts. I love the welcome when the kids see me so I know they like me no matter what issues they have with behaviors.

I'm an easy going person who loves sports and always down for a good hike. I've been a caregiver for almost 5 years now and enjoy what I do. I am patient and a good listener which comes from the experience in the field.

I'm a great caregiver because I have a great amount of patience and understanding. I have spent most of my life caring for disabled children and adults. This is my passion , since a young age I've learned to adapt and show compassion, with helping to raise my sister who has down syndrome.
