It's very scary leaving a loved one with a stranger being cared by me you can rest assure your loved one will be safe and cared for. I have worked as a caregiver before and I am back because there are not very many of us out there and if you got what it takes then go for it. I've always felt like caregiving has been my calling. Ever since I can remember I've always had the need to help. If it was a friend or a complete stranger that I encountered on the side of the street. I find extreme happiness in providing a sense of relief to patients and their family's. My mom was diagnosed with psoriatic RA about 15 years ago. She fell very ill in 2017 and had to be hospitalized for a few months. At the beginning stages of her stay some of the providers weren't very kind to her. It made me feel very uneasy, like all control was out of my hands. A few weeks into her stay, the staffing changed and a brand new batch of providers came in. To say that I was relieved is an understatement. Being able to go home after our visits knowing that she was in great care gave me a feeling that I can't describe. This is the feeling that I strive to provide with each family that I come into contact with. A few of my most notable personality traits are that I'm compassionate, patient, understanding and find the joys out of the smallest things in life.

My passion is to help does in need. A little help goes a long way.

I am friendly and easy to get along with. I understand the importance of patience and communication. I try to be organized and helpful and safety is important to me. I want everyone to be able to live an independent life as much as possible and I love to be able to be the one that helps with that. The older my own grandparents get the more I want to make sure they're safe and happy. Thats what I want for other peoples parents and grandparents. Everyone deserves a happy and safe life in any stage of their life.

One of the things i like most about in home care giving is being able to tailor my time to what makes the person happy. Taking the time to listen to the needs and really learn about the person. I started my journey as a caregiver with Adams County adult services and recived my C.N.A from Emily Griffith School og opertunity. When i started my family i took time off to raise my kids and see them off on their own journey. Throughout the years I have worked with many people and gained insight, valuable knowledge and personal growth along the way. One of the things i like most is making a positive impact on the people i care for.

I am gentle, kind, caring, and compassionate. Caregiving is something I've been great at my whole life! Hi! I am a very kind, patient, and realiable caretaker. I've been working with the senior population my entire professional life. I started out in 2011 as a dietary aide. I then started caregiving in 2016 and later got my QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personell) in 2017 and have been doing that since. I've also worked at Lutheran Medical Center as CNA(Certified Nursing Assistant) for a little over a year. I started working as a caregiver because of my interest in becoming a nurse. I have had the deepest pleasure of being a Certified Nursing Assistant for the last two years. Caring for those who cannot care for themselves is not only humbling, but it brings me such joy to know I'm allowed to be there for ups and downs that come along with the journey of life.
