I am a carer, who enjoys my work! I have 8 years of experience!! with different types of patients and diseases. I am friendly, hardworking and a good communicator, I am patient, a good listener and enjoy working closely with others, especially older people, I am friendly, talkative and good natured!! I have the ability to transmit relief from suffering and Optimism, always expecting a favorable or positive result from my Confidence and Self-Assurance and the ability to understand and share the feelings of their clients. I have worked with a variety of clients that have depression, multiple sclerosis, Down syndrome, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and elder care. I was attracted to caregiving because I really enjoy helping others and making a difference in people's lives. I enjoy the relationships that have developed in my experience with being a CNA. I never thought that I would be able to do this type of work, and by having an open mind to try something new, I discovered that helping others is quite intuitive to me as well as extremely rewarding.

Knowing that you have done something good for someone else that may not be able to e capable of doing or wanting to do things on there own. I enjoy the most about being a care giver is that when I know that I have made a difference by taking care of someone to the fullest and having a warm heart about it makes me smile and want to wake up the next day to do it all over again.

The primary reason I enjoy being a caregiver is being able to help people who cannot care for themselves and knowing that I am adding to their lives and making the difficult time in their life more bearable. My favorite part is being able to help them maintain there life in the privacy of their own home. I have always felt for the people that wasn't able to stay in the home where they spent their lives with their spouse and raised their children and have been independent all of their lives and all of a sudden they are put into a position where they are forced to depend on other people. They are told its not safe for them to live alone or perform the normal daily activities anymore and most of the time these unfortunate people are forced into nursing homes and don't always get the care they deserve so my job is to help this major transition in their lives go smoother and my goal is for the people I'm caring for to still feel worthy, loved, show them support and help them to realize that someone understands what they are going through.
