I'm a patient person, I know to take care of elderly you need that. Even when I take care of an abusive person, I always try to understand the patient. I chose to become a caregiver after I took of my grandpa, I enjoy doing it even the patients are not my family. What I like the most about being a caregiver is the fact that I always think about me or my family being on my patients situation and someone else will take good care of them because I did it for others.

Caregiving is a what I feel im called to do.I have tried other jobs but I am always drawn back into the caregiving role.I love helping people and being a caregiver to my grandmother a stroke patient of three years.Mother who has had two open heart surgeries and a recent pacemaker put in. My Mother and uncle who were my life became incapacitated. My uncle had been in care of a caregiver multiple times in his later years during his hip replacedment, prostate cancer, and finally during his Parkinson, and dementia. My mother was under care from 2008 -2011. Constant care due to heart disease. I always want to pay back to the caregivers in their life. They bring love and caring to families in deep need of comfort. I knew then that is what I wanted to do. I know the difficulties and pain being a caregiver myself. I would have liked the help that I am offering. It is hard to see someone you love go thru any illness feeling helpless. I want to help give you strength and comfort.
