I am currently working as a Licensed Medication Technician in addition, I am a Licensed Phlebotomist with a VERY gentle hand, extensive training and hands-on experience in venipuncture, capillary puncture, and special collection techniques, which means I can do in- home labs so that your loved one can be comfortable in their own home. Certified in CPR, AED and Basic First Aid. As of 3/30/2021 I AM FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID-19

At work my patients called me "Sunshine". I always have a smile on my face. I enjoy helping people. It's what I've always done. I am the oldest of five sisters and we grew up in an unstable home. I grew up quickly and started taking care of my sisters when I was 9. I'm still helping them. Anyone who knows me, knows that they can depend on me and that I'm trustworthy. I am always helping someone by taking them shopping, taking them to doctors appointments, taking them to pick up prescriptions, or just sitting and visiting because they are lonely. I love to help people accomplish things that they need to get done but can't because they can't drive (due to seizures etc...) or because they need advice or companionship.

I love spending time with our older generations. They're great to learn from and with! My mother has always taken care of the elderly and I have also since I graduated HS. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing their faces light up reminiscing on the good ole days.

I have been a caregiver to both my parents for the last 15 years. My Filipino heritage has instilled the importance of respecting and taking care of your elders. I always strive to make sure my parents were safe, healthy, happy, & well cared for.

I am a reliable Caregiver who have been working in the field for 9 years with devotion and commitments. My journey with the caregiving starts when I was in College. That time I was tutoring disabled students to reach their goal and provide care when needed. That's how I found out that I love to take care of people who need assistance in their everyday life. What makes me a great caregiver is that I do it from my heart it takes a very strong and loving, dedicated individual to be a caregiver. What made me become a caregiver is at the age of 17yrs, old I lost my father due to seroises of the liver and treating him for cancer I watched my father pass away I felt so helpless and said to myself that when I grew up I would help people and take care of them. I have been in a certified healthcare profesional for over 16 years.

I have been taking care of people since I was 19. The first person was my great grandmother who had Alzheimer's. She was a hand full but I learned how to handle her so she wouldn't get upset. It was more companionship at first but as time went I on I would bathe and clothe her. I kept her dentures clean and cooked meals. As my life went on I helped my grandmother after her back surgery, grandfather during his recovery of cancer, and my aunt with COPD. In 2015 to 2017 I became my uncle caregiver when he was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. I watched him go from a healthy man to him taking his last breath. It was a sad time but I was grateful to be the person he wanted to take care of him. I believe he chose me because he know i had done it many times, I was in nursing school at the time and I loved him. He knew I would give him the best care. I love helping people and making them comfortable as I can. When people are sick they just need someone to listen and make them feel their best at that time. Anytime I can make a person forget that they are sick even its only for little while I think that's an amazing accomplishment.

I am a 44 year old USAF vet, currently a student at Pensacola State College working towards my Biology degree. My ultimate goal is to become a PA, physicians assistant from the University of South Alabama. I am First Aid and CPR cerifified through the Red Cross. I don't have any home health care certifications but I have some knowledge and abilities in the field. In 2013 I moved back to Okc, Ok to care for both my parents. My mother suffered from stage 2 of renal failure as well as diabetes, early stages of Parkinson's, arthritis and Degenerative back diseases. She was bed ridden and had mobility difficulties. My father suffered from COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and high blood pressure. Both my parents required daily help with the usual day to day routine but my duties included; helping them bathe, administer diabetic medicines and constant monitoring which is why I moved into the home with them. I also prepared meals per their request and did the shopping per their instructions. I would also transport them both. Sometime simultaneously to their medical appointments and would often take extra time during this trips to get them out of the house. Both my parents passed in 2015. Taking care of ones parents is an honor and a duty. The amount of dedication and patience required is astounding and I loved being able to do it. I was able to give my parents the loving attention that should be a skill set with any healthcare professional. I have an affinity for the elderly and an extreme sense of compassion for people. That is why when I returned to Florida I decided to finish pursuing my medical degree and become a Physicians assistant..
