I like helping people and working with people who can't fend for their self. I've been a caregiver since I was a little girl taking care of orphaned baby animals. I am now a certified CNA. I have worked with elderly, disabled, along with mentally challenge people. I have worked in a med fragile home nursing homes and private home care. I have been certified in CPR, first aid and had a lot of training on working with elderly and disabled people. I've had 15 years of experience I've taken them shopping, doctor appointment, run errands, I give baths, help dress, cook, tubal feeding I've taken care of my dad ,he had alheizmer along with clients who had it. I've had a lot of experience working with all kinds of people. I am a CNA and have a license up to date.I can give references

I was caregiver for my dad for ten years he needed me to care for his daily needs. After his second brain surgery that he lost his long term memory. I couldn't mind since my dad cared for me when I was a baby to teen-years. So I couldn't turn my back on him. Plus as a nurse assistance it is my job to care for the client in their time of need. That I gave my dad the best care as a parent would give to a child. I am the mother of two grown children a son and a daughter and my son-In-law and two grandchildren Autumn and Gabriel. I am graduate from Brown Mackie College from Atlanta for medical assistance for one year program. I am have certificate nurse assistance for 20 years in nursing home, senior care home and ten years of caregiver experience. I am the type of person that I care about others well being to get better to their old self again. I believe that what I am doing will make them well again or feel better while I'm care for your love one. I am the kind of person that is down to earth, out going, caring, warm hearted, and silly person that wear my heart on my sleeves. I have been in the caregiver business for 24 years every since 1990 when I graduate from nurse assistance school.

Love helping people

I became a home health aide in earlier in 2002. I have a certification for my HomeHealth Aide.Then I became a Certified Nurse Aide in 2006. Also I have my Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration as well also. I have over 23years experience in health care and as a caregiver .In 1993. My goals was to help elderly people and make a difference in my life and there's. My experiences are in hospitals, nursing homes, assisting living homecare . I work mainly as an Self Employed Caregiver and contractors as my own boss and to private duties cases. I do love my job . I went back to school to seek my Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration as well to. I am flexible looking for full-time or part-time hour.

I am a licensed occupational therapy asst trying to supplement my work hours. I have excellent interpersonal skills, I would say my empathy makes me a better caregiver. I also understand that clients need to participate In self care tasks at the level they are capable of to maintain strength and mobility. I really enjoy getting to know patients and their families and making a difference in someone's life. We all will need help at some point in our lives, I treat others as I would want to be treated.

As a caregiver i put my self in there shoes, what if it was me or a family of mine i would want what best for them. It makes me feel so good to see my resident happy, smiling. Taking care of my grandmother at a tinder age encourages to take care of others, if i can make people comfortable, happy , feel love its 1 of the best feeling ever. I enjoy most being caregiver going to work to my resident with a smile seeing it and them say im happy you are here. Im also proud of myself to finish college

I became a caregiver when my brother was run over by motorcycle my mom didn't know what to do I took action I lifted my brother and carried him to the hospital after cleaning his wound. I enjoy helping always have been a helper. My proudest moment is the look you get when you've helped someone that can't help themselves. Caregiving is so rewarding. The sense of giving back and being there for someone.

Since a very young age I have always been interested in spending time with people who have deficits in the ADLs and other parts of their occupations. I love to help and make people smile. I'll be finishing my degree in Occupational Therapy by the summer of 2016 and this is my greatest achievement for now. I Love meeting different people, every day can bring on a new challenge and you are constantly learning. I can get emotionally attached to a person I am caring for, so if something goes wrong I'm very much affected. In saying that, it makes me feel good knowing that I have made a difference in someone's life and brought them comfort during a difficult time. Sometimes that is easier said then done, and when your client passes away or no longer requires your care it can be very emotional, but knowing you have made a difference is a source of comfort.

I love being helpful and helping others that are in need of assistance. 3. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? A personal achievement i'm proud of was to be able to take care of my grandmother in her time of need for 10 years. 4. Tell us something about yourself. I took care of my grandmother before she passed. I was very good at it and i love my job, so i took the CNA classes, got my certification 10yrs ago. I love taking care of people and most of all i love my job. I am a single mother, my daughter is 23yrs old, she is graduating this may as a BSN nurse. First ,I am a loving mother of four children , anotherhand my mom and dad leave with me . I really care for children and older adults . So that is the reason that makes me a great caregiver . First , my patient is my priority I am a loyal person , on time ,and truthful. Second . I am very care about my job , good listener , humble , observant, caring , teamwork , ready to learn with all my heart . I am a licensed practical nurse with 8 years of home care experience. I am CPR and First aid certified and have many years experience with trachea, vents and gtube care. I've been a caregiver for a little bit over 18 years. I am a mother of three boys that I raised to be upstanding young men they are currently grown and in the work in field. I love being out in the community with my individuals. I went back to school to get my bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
