I love to see clients and family smile and happy. I became a CNA 20years ago I enjoy working in a healthcare setting. I became a Cna to help others care for other's to be a inspiration also inspire other's being a leaning and helping hand to someone else's in need. I started caregiving for my grandfather. I was asked to sit with Gramps the last 3 years of his life. I enjoyed sitting with Gramps. I got to hear some stories from him of his younger days. I have precious memories. I have sat for 3 other people. But of course Gramps was my favorite.

I became a caregiver simply by watching and helping my father take care of his grandmother as a young girl. I enjoy witnessing the joy and excitement on my patients' faces when they are being well taking care of, from as simply as giving a cold glass of water to comforting them in time of pain. For the last couple of years, I have been team captain for the Alzheimer's Walk. I set up fundraisers to help raise money for this very special event, as well as participate in the walk. I am a very dedicated person to my work. I am compassionate, loyal, honest, self motivated, and care about the well-being of my patients.

My working experience have provided me the opportunity to master many of my skills necessary for my chosen profession. I'm really energetic and a great communicator. Working in the medical field for over 28 years helped me build confidence and taught me the importance of patient care. I love knowing that each day I'm helping people and making a real difference in their lives.

I absolutely love and adored elderly people. To me they are just like children. They are fragile, innocent and defenseless. I look at them as our hero's! They have fought the good fight and won the race! They are very wise and full of knowledge. i have been a certified nursing assistant for 11 years but i have been a caregiver longer than that helping to assist my own family members with adl's, med,and whatever else that i could assist with. i am a very caring, and patient individual i always have empathy and compassion for the individuals that i enter into their lives. i never treat people as a client i treat them as though they were a family member, and it is very rewarding to make someone happy. I understand that sometimes family members can't be there all the time so it is my pleasure to help and fill in when family members cant. I have worked in all different areas so i have a lot of experience that alot of caregivers don't and i always tell people i'm not here for the money i am here knowing that i can make someone happy or even smile if it is only for a minute.
