The belief that love conquers all things, is embedded in me. Each person is different, learning that person & having great energy with each approach, we help with care &resolutions. My gifts are special and are available to all whom are willing & able. Taking care is in my bloodline, almost every elder, in my family, are caregivers, be it worth children, seniors, animals, plants, & all that is in between. Helping others, in every way that I can, brings me such a profound joy, that I can not explain. Sometimes people know not what they do or have been given, so I do not look for praise from others. What I see & what I feel, knowing what I know, is fine with me, I keep it moving on, to help the next. I know that what I give, is a lot to take in, fore I am not like others & my geniality is not of the norm. People may question, if it's real, but will definitely get it, after while.

I'm a fun going person with the ability to give love where love is needed. I have a passion for people and care for the well being of such. I'm 39 year of age, God-fearing, father of 4, very dependable, trustworthy, ambitious and have a deep passion about what I do. I stand as a "gentle gaint," at 6'6 and physically in shape to bend, lift, and carry. I have my own transportation. I recently did a background check and will provide upon meeting. I'm just finished a course to get my CNA and scheduled to take my state exam Dec-Jan. I'm also in the beginning works on starting my own business in home healthcare - "Gentle Giant Care for Homes."

I absolutely love caring for the elderly. I believe I possess the heart and the patience where so many do not. I wake each day excited about what the day will bring. Having worked mostly with memory impaired seniors, you develop that patience. I'm quite skilled and pride myself in my ability to connect with and redirect my patients. I have a quirky sense of humor that seniors appear to appreciate. I've never been one to deny them the dignity they so deserve by looking past their situation and treating them as children. They're not children. They're beautiful, rich individuals with feelings and fears and I work hard to ensure they feel that way. I changed careers midlife after seeing how a friends mother was treated/cared for in a skilled nursing facility (nursing home). Something just told me I needed to care for those who can't care for themselves and caring for someone in their own home, surrounded by their own family was the answer. I secured my CNA training and certification and I've never looked back. I'm comfortable with everything that comes with being a nurse, from companionship to total care. We've worked puzzles, gone on wheelchair walks through their neighborhoods and sat for hours going through old photos albums. I'm just as content in a companionship role as much as I am in a total care or hospice role. I've been there, holding the hands of patients till the end. I'm not afraid of incontinence, bathing and sundowning. I think I have seen it all. While all seniors and situations are different, there is only one way to care for them; like they're your own parents. With that same unconditional love, patience and devotion. I would have to say, this has been the most rewarding time of my life. Ive connected with so many wonderful, loving and devoted families. I think this profession chose me because I could never imagine doing anything else!

My name is Jordan Andrews and I am 24 years old. I love caring and helping elders. It's very close to me because my mother has rahbdomyalosis and diabetes as well as other illnesses and I bath her , groom, dress, feed her and make sure her day is not filled with sadness about being sick but about fun and being productive. I love to make sure they exercise but make it fun sometimes they want to feel young again and sometimes they want someone to talk to tell how they feel. I love to listen , whatever they need I will give if they need me to sing karaoke or act out an actor I will do just that just to see them smile. I will prep meals according to the diets and keep medicine written down and already separated for them. I do not have a car but if they need me to get groceries I will make sure I find transportation that day or walk to the store just for them .

My main strength is my ability to observe changes in a patient. Whether it it is, a decrease in eating, agitation or illness, it is very likely that I will notice it. I realized when a family member of mine fell ill, my family and I were often unsure of whether or not she was being taken care of well and ,more often than not, she was not. I want to take that burden from other families. I love learning about the people I care for because it makes my job and their day a lot easier when their day is going a little rough. My proudest personal achievement is definitely when I got accepted into one of the toughest summer programs available to college freshman and sophomores at an ivy league university.

I'm 24 years old I've been interested in home care since I was about 16 my mom has always been a nurse. I have always had a strong desire to help people. I love people, I love meeting new people & I love learning new things. I have a passion for cooking & reading.

I've achieved so much in life, but my biggest achievement of all is becoming a Clayton County Firefighter. In my four years of dedication to the community I found my passion caring for the elderly. I take pride in caring and understanding each person. With this gift of I know I'm making a difference in my life and others.

I am a great caregiver because of my personality, experience, training, reliability, accountability, and honest. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right.
