Hello my name is Imaya Harper, I have 1 year of caregiver experience.

I worked as a direct support professional for Mosaic for two and a half years. Unfortunately, the house where I was working closed down. I am currently the Admin Secretary for the Mosaic office, but I am missing the caregiving work that I did. I miss the interaction with my residents and I miss helping them. The best job I ever had was being a caregiver and I want to continue to do that. I am very kind and friendly. I am also a reliable and hard worker. I love to build relationships with my clients, I do it because it makes me happy and is very rewarding. Feel free to get ahold of me if you feel like I would be a good candidate for you. I was a cna in a nursing home at 20 yrs old. I enjoy teaching clients and family. I am very proud of my nursing with the army reserve.

I am a gentle and loving nurse whose heart is in providing all encompassing care for seniors so they can remain in their home. As a nurse I can help with medications, wound care, diabetes care but also enjoy providing companionship, help with bathing, dressing, ambulation and transfers, cooking, laundry and help around the house.

I'm a great caregiver because I'm patient and I know that every person is important and has different necessities . I enjoy going outside and being a good companion inside of the house. I am a good cook. I talk some languages and I'm happy to achieve each of those languages on high school. I'm happy to be a caregiver because I used to take care of my grandfather with my dad help and he has Alzheimer and dementia and I was happy to help.

Hello, I have worked in the education field for 6 years and wanted to continue my passion for help others in a new career path. I would love to apply my creativity and problem solving skills to better assist those in need.

Growing up in a family of medical professionals I surely thought that one day I would become a nurse. After watching my aunt take care and aid the sick in her home, I knew I wanted to become more hands-on with patients. While still in high school, I became a Candy Striper for a local hospital, helping out with medical records and little jobs as needed around the hospital. Being surrounded on a daily basis by this kind of environment is what made me want to become a caregiver.

I used to volunteer at nursing homes as a child and I loved it. I love being a caregiver because I know that I'm making their last days better and more comfortable for them and being able to make them smile each day makes me feel better too. I have had lots of great personal acheivements but the one I'm proud of most is getting an education when everyone doubted I would. I am Silver level National Career Readiness certified and have a certificate in soft skills. I am very driven, self motivated, positive, upbeat, n love to be constantly going.

Started working for DHHS in Omaha NE in 2005 until 2014. Working with others is one of my gifts I can give to others. The work is giving to someone who can not always help themselves. Worked with my daughter Heidi for many years, she has epilepsy that is not controlled by medicine. Also worked in hospital as a EKG tech from 1998-2004. I became a caregiver because it fills my need for helping someone out and builds my pride within myself knowing that I have done that on a daily basis. I like to have many different tasks throughout the day that keep me busy, because have a lot of energy and am well organized to be more efficient and get things completed in a timely and orderly fashion. My greatest personal achievement is my son. He has a diagnosis of down syndrome and I strive every day to make him successful and know that he can accomplish anything he wants to as long as he believes in himself. I have very high expectations of him and my college degree has assisted me in the knowledge to help him succeed and excel. I like to have fun and make people smile, because it is the small things in life that are the most memorable and the most important.

I became a Caregiver because I am currently in school to become a nurse. I thought being a care giver would give me a lot of good experience for the nursing field. I absolutely love being a care giver. It's such a good feeling to get my members up in the morning and see their faces light up when they see me. I love helping them with their daily needs and making sure that they are always very well taken care of. The members at my facility mean so much to me. I am a 21 year old college student seeking part time work.
