Hello my name is Johntrale, I became attracted to caregiving by watching my mother and learning from her. Being a caregiver isn't always easy but what makes my job easier is seeing clients/residents smiling, laughing and being comfortable. I never saw myself working in this field but now I'm here and I love it.

I became a care giver at the age of 17 because my grandmother had dementia and I had to help care for her. After her passing I went on to get certification in doing so. I like to help people. I like to help people keep their independence as long as possible and to show them that I care. I'm reliable and trustworthy

My grandmothers inspire me to care for individuals that can't for themselves. I enjoy helping the individual reach their specific goal for their day to day needs. I became a Caregiver to help others. I enjoy being one of the reasons on why someones day is being made. What i most enjoy about being a Caregiver is becoming apart of someones life not only as their health provider but a companion. Just knowing i helped someone else makes me happy.. And understanding the individual emotional and personally to better understand his/her essential needs. One of my personal achievements would have to be graduating Med school and knowing that im able to achieve anything despite obstacles. A bit about me is that Im 26 very outgoing, caring and fun. Iam a single mother of two that likes to take care people older then me I love working with , elderly people I have a lot of sense of humor I'm shy to start with but once you get to know me I'm very cool iam polite clean nice and I love to help what attracted to me to be an care giver first off like I've said in the beginning I love to help people & meet new families what I enjoy most about this is seeing someone smile the achievement I'm proud of is I'm still doing this three years strong

I started off as a medical assistant working for a gastroenterologist with geriatrics and from then on I pursued caregiving and home health. I've been in this field for a little over 8 years . I've worked in a group home with mentally disabled adults as well as a facility for Alzheimer and Dementia geriatrics. I've worked live in, hospice, and daily. Just the thought of being there building a relationship with someone and helping them or even just being a friend to make their day go by better makes me feel better..
