I'm very excited to work as a caregiver. I look forward to helping others, and as a caregiver I strive to be a great listener and kind to everyone. I have always been interested in caring for others, especially since I have been caring for my disabled mother for about 5 years. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to provide support for those who aren't able to care for themselves. Also, I recently decided to take the next steps in my career and am working towards being a registered nurse so that I can provide even better help as a caregiver!

I believe that the best trait in me is determination. I like to encourage my patients to do as much as they can on their own with me their so that they do not lose their independance. My passion in the healthcare setting is unlimited and I have had the availability to attain employment in almost every role from PCA to NA. I love to put a smile on someones face especially when they have had a rough day or appointment. A personal achievement would be working full time and in nursing school as well as working on the RN-BSN while raising a child on my own.

My name is Christella Charles. I have a total of 6 years of being a caregiver. Some of my job description was to assist individuals who have difficulty performing basic day-to-day activities, for example, the elderly, disabled persons, or people suffering from chronic or mental disorders. As a caregiver, some other duties performed included assisting with personal care, administering medication, and providing companionship. At the moment, I am currently in nursing school, furthering my education in the medical field. Working as a caregiver has provided me with the opportunity to receive more experience in the field that is my passion.

I'm a caring person with a big heart. Since I was 15 my goal was to become a nurse. I am currently in nursing school trying to make my dreams come true. I have been an RN for many years. During that time I have been a personal caregiver, a sitter , a medication administrator, and an instructor. My proudest moment was when I received the Hand and Heart Award from the Secretary of The Veterans Administration for giving excellent care to the nation's veterans.

I am a great caregiver, because I care and it is always better to give than to receive. I obtained my License as a nursing assistant in 2013, in 2017 I earned my Bachelor's of Science in nursing and successfully passed state boards. Prior to working in healthcare, I was involved in commercial driving (CDL), so I was a bit nervous on my 1st day of work as a licensed nursing assistant. My wife has mentioned that I posses excellent communication skills. I am compassionate toward other individuals and after working as a CNA, I decided to go back to school and become a Registered Nurse, I am currently 2 classes aways of graduating with a Bachelor's in Science of Nursing (BSN) and would love to continue my education earn a master's in teaching, so that I may cultivate the next generations minds in becoming extraordinary nurses. I must say, I give all the glory to my father in heaven who loves me and has wonderful plans for me. I am saved by his grace.

I'm a calm, organized, caring, and compassionate individual who enjoys learning things, and being patient enough to stick through them until I fully understand!
