I'm very out going and easy to talk to. I always put others before myself and I go above and beyond for even just a little smile. I love being able to help others. Some people call this a job but deep down inside its more. I'm a proud dad of a 6month old. I currently work in the emergency room as a patient care associate. I am capable of working with every type of patients. From baby's to adults. I am CPR certified through the hospital. I've been a Pca for a little over 4 years.

I became a caregiver because I wanted to take care of people and help them. I currently work in a residential facility where I take care of individuals with developmental disorders. I enjoy my work and I enjoy helping the people I take care of. I enjoy the people I work with. There's a lot of team work that is required at this place and I am very thankful for the people I have to help me. I do enjoy talking to my consumers and hanging out with them. Most of them can't talk to me, but that doesn't stop me from talking to them! My biggest achievement at this point is that I just returned to nursing school. I spent many years avoiding it and finally I came to the realization that this is my dream and I needed to pursue it. Within a few months I was accepted and enrolled into a great nursing program; currently it is on line so I am able to work around my busy schedule with it. In addition to attending nursing school I baby sit occasionally, I have these amazing twin girls that I have known since they were babies and I watched for a couple of summers and now I still hang out with them and watch them every now and them. I do not have any children of my own, though I hope too one day. My boyfriend and I are talking more and more about our future, but nothing is set in stone yet. In the meantime, I have a niece and twin nephews that I can love on and play with.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy caring for other people. As we come into this world we are taught to always go forward and use all of our senses and physical movements. When that it taken away from us, we don't realize how much we depend on those senses and physical movements. Realizing this, it hurts our dignity and we are often afraid to ask for help. I enjoy helping people who can not do for themselves and to see that I have satisfied there needs to the fullest. Hello Lovely People! I am currently in Nursing School and hope to work with older adults when I graduate. I enjoy working with and for older adults. I have been a caregiver/Certified Nurse Assistant for over 2 years and it has made me want to work with older adults even more.

Caregiving is important to me because everyone deserves someone to be by their side through thick and thin. I became a caregiver because when I was younger I would go with my family to nursing homes to trick or treat and had always admired to smiles on the residents faces. An achievement I am proud of is being able to work in as many homes as relief support for caregivers with burnout.

1. I became a caregiver because when I was 15 years old I was in a bad car accident. I was like a 15 year old newborn and I couldn't do anything myself for about 3 months. The care that I got in the hospital and in my home was incredible and made the experience tolerable. 2. The thing I love the most about being a caregiver is watching my patients excel more than they did the day before. When I see a patient sit up on their own and they couldn't do it the day before I get the biggest smile and it makes my day. 3. I am proud of the fact that I might not have been to walk again and I pushed myself to be able to walk, run, and almost go back to how I was before my car accident. And the fact that the car accident opened my eyes and directed me into the Nursing field. 4. I am a very compassionate person and I have a lot of passion in this field. I want to help as many people and make their day just a little bit better if I can. I have been working at a doctors office for the past month and although it is easy work, I do not feel like that job is for me. I want to be able to make a difference in someones' life like the nurses did for me. I want to be able to work with someone one-on-one so I can be the best CNA that I can be.

I am a RN-educator. I enjoy teaching and working with patients with Alzheimer and Dementia. I am a caregiver with a ton of experience.

I have been a caregiver for more than 12 years, graduate from nursing school with Bachelor degree,waiting to take the state Board. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. I have taken care of people all my life. I have grandfather who is 90 years old, blind, and has Alzheimer's that I have taken care of for 3 years. I also have a mother who I took care of while she underwent chemotherapy 3 times. I am currently a nursing student at Chamberlain College of Nursing and am 1 year away from getting my BSN. I also have my CNA certification and CPR certification. Caregiving is important to me because I know first hand how much having a compassionate person to help take care them can make the difference in someone quality of life. I am a quick learner, I am excellent at multitasking and always ready to learn.

Over the years of working in healthcare, one thing I have learned that helps me to be a great caregiver is showing real compassion through my personality. By having a great attitude every time I work with patients helps to develop better care and understanding of needs. I've been attracted to being a caregiver because of the compassion needed for people during times that they are most in need, and vulnerable. I enjoy meeting new clients and receiving great feedback because it lets me know I am able to make a difference in their lives. One of my personal achievements that I'm proud of is how far I've gotten in my education to become a nurse. It's been a long road but one that I'm proud of.

Possessing a nurturing nature, care-giving comes naturally to me. I truly enjoy being a caregiver and am passionate about quality care. I am currently taking a break from pursuing my nursing degree and have very open availability. I love the job and the role of helping others. Since a very young age I have always enjoyed taking care of others. I love to help and make people smile. I do have clinical experience, I have completed 7 semesters of clinical rotations thus far in nursing and I do also have a variety of home health care experience as well. I have completed clinical rotations at hospitals in various areas including med/surg, labor and delivery, mental health, ICU, and the emergency department as well as rotations at assisted living facilities and mental health intake/drug rehab.
