I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I like being able to help the elderly live with some independence in their life. One of my achievements was to receive an A in my CNA class. I am a responsible person. I would like to add that I have already had a fingerprinted background check. I am on the Illinois health registry. I have my current CPR as well.

Wanted to become a nurse since childhood. Love listening to old stories from the past... I believe we can learn from the past. Been a nurse since November 2006... Had many chances to change but never will.. Like to make a person smile and be happy....

I became a caregiver because I always had the passion to help others and I have a brother who is autistic and every since he was a baby I literally took care of him like he was my own, that just gave me the desire to help others outside of my family and I truly enjoy what I do it gives me the opportunity to give back to others in need and it also makes me feel good helping others.

I took care of my mother who had congestive heart failure, diabetes and dementia. She required complete care. We also did physical therapy to help her walk. I enjoyed taking care of her, it was very rewarding to see her smile.

I am a great caregiver, because I love people in general!!! I have always been a person to care for others and help out anyway I could, but being able to help someone else, and knowing that they will be pleased with my work is one of the main things that keep me doing this job!. I am so grateful to be able to do CNA work. It really shows what kind of person you are and the care that you give your clients show what kind of person you are. I am very kind- hearted, compassionate, caring, open-minded. I recently went back to school after raising my children and obtained my General Education Degree. After obtaining that I continued my education as a freshmen in college, working towards my Respiratory Therapy degree. I love being able to take care of people, I am a wife and mother of 3 and soon to be a grandmother. In my spare time I spend quality time with my husband and children, we go to amusement parks, beaches, and sometimes just lounge around the house. but overall I am very family oriented, and I am a true believer if I cant take care of my family I cant take care of anyone else's. My family is very important to me, and I will care for yours the way I care for mine!!!

I became a caregiver years ago after family members were unable to take care of them self.In doing so,i began to help more people.Soon i began to enjoy doing what became natural for me. (2)What i like about being a caregiver;is after i have completed my day work for my patient and ask them is there anything you want me to do,and some say sit down lets talk.than i;m the audience of there life story#priceless.(3)What is my personal achievement i;m proud of, i;m proud of the fact that I have made a difference in someone life,that day.And tomorrow they are looking to see me.(4)I;m a honest person,very meek,and i love the lord.

I received my CNA certificate from the Kankakee Area Career Center and I've worked as a CNA since 17. I loved my first CNA job. I loved each of the residents I took care of like they were my own grandparents. That sort of thing happens you become a part of each others routines and lives. When I began working for a hospice part of my job was to provide care in homes.I was happy knowing patients were comfortable being in their own home. It's rewarding to know that someone trusts you enough to allow you to take care of them and their home. I'm proud of getting my job at hospice. I was 18 years old when I started there and it was one of the best and hardest positions I've held in my life.It's a wonder I have tears left.I will forever be grateful for the experiences and lessons I gained as part of that team. I'm in the process of completing an associates degree and then off to pursue a bachelors in cultural anthropology.Odd right? I'm still considering nursing, it'd be exciting to become a traveling, in-home CNA or nurse and write about it. My mother is from the United States Virgin Islands and often speaks in old adages.I was never taught to "respect my elders because they're my elders." I was taught to respect and love my elders and always remember that in this life you are once a man and twice a child. Because of my mothers words, my heart and smile are as warm as my heart is gentle.

I Love my career. I have been a CNA for 10 years. I worked in an ER for 8 years and have 2 years of nursing home experience. I believe in giving the best quality of care.

Well as a little girl I grew up watching my mother doing what she loved to do which is caring for someone other than her four children at the time. It was as if she was taking care of her own mother or father. She did it with such grace and poise that at the end of the day she knew that she had made a difference in someone's mother or father's life. And that made me proud of my mother that she was happy and enjoyed what she did for a living. I thought to myself as a little girl, I want to make a difference in someone's life too, I want to help others that are unable to CARE for themselves too. So here I am I've been a CNA for 7yrs., a mental health tech for 11 yrs. And currently enrolled to be a medical assistant and then on to become a Registered nurse.

I'm a great caregiver because I generally care 4 people. I became a caregiver because a good friend of mine needed help with her client. Little did I know at the time that I was hired that I get more can I ever give. I love to personalize to care to my client.
